I challenge any of you lambasting Winnie for having an affair with another man, to examine yourselves if you are not guilty of same offense.

While I don't support Winnie, if she did that, I want those of you who did not know that while Mandela was in prison, Winnie took up the anti-apartheid struggle as if her husband gave her official authority to represent him. She was equally an icon in the struggle, alongside many other prominent personalities.
She was human and subjected to the sexual passions of every normal person.

We don't have to denigrate her but forgive her.

I knew instinctively that,contrary to Akomea`s pleas to the SA authorities not to ostracize her,that we had not heard the last word from this woman. Come to think of it,what is this piece of self-serving 'rubbish' trying to convey to the rest of the outside world? The man cut you loose for well-known reasons,and instead of finding some quiet place to 'PARK' her poor soul,as we often say in our own Ebola,so as not to attract public condemnation,here she is trumpeting her own importance on this very somber occasion. It goes to show how selfish this woman truly is! I can predict that no sooner will the formalities come a close,when this "Alomogyata" will spring into action to try and cash in on the huge and lucrative Mandale estate,either directly or through her children!
And just listen to her 'yap' to us about "our African tradition";yes this woman knows no shame! Madela may be gone;but I really feel sorry for the children he gave to this shameless woman.

That poor guy who was brutalized knew a little too much,and that is precisely the reason they got rid of him. The White SA authorities knew about all the 'hanky-panky' that was going on ,through information gathered from informants they had planted amongst that so-called football club! And let truth be told,this woman even took this young lawyer -cum-lover on engagements outside SA,and accounts I have read indicate that Western Intel Agencies in the US,Brtain and elsewhere may have tipped off the SAs initially. The ANC leadership was also aware of the embarrassing situation, but was powerless to intervene because of the 'demi-god' status Winnie has crafted for herself. She kept a lot of the monies sympathizers had donated to the cause of the struggle,and this made her even more independent and free to do as she wished. And for the benefit of those,especially women,who have been sold on the idea of the obvious 'hardships' associated with the long period of separation,please note that 'oldman'Mandela would have forgiven her 'evil ways',if the piccadilos had ceased with his release from detention; no,it ceratainly did not! Look,Mandela had received advance briefings on this totally 'out-of-control'woman`s 'illicit' activities,and was prepared to forgive her,but as you have indicated,she had made up her mind to carry on with her 'picadillos'. Btw,are you aware that this young man was not the only 'toyboy' she maintained in her stable?
Were spouses of other ANC notables like Oliver Tambo,Walter Sisilu and others not facing the same or worse predicament? Let`s not condone 'bad behaviour',but recognize the the damaging effect her conduct had on morale within the organization. The Apartheid regime used this as a propaganda tool against the struggle because the old traditionalists were put off by all her shenanigans: She kept a lot of the monies she received on behalf of the ANC she secured all sorts of 'goodies'-overseas scholarships for her children, foreign junkets with her 'toyboys',the extravagant lifestle she led - all of which were publicised in the White-controlled SA media. Do not that this gave opportunists like Butheleizi and others, the opening to engage in their own kind of mischief to the chagrin of the then hapless ANC leadership. Was her position,not seriously undermined by her own behaviour, which then made her look ridiculous in the eyes of the people when she picked up useless quarrels with the Apartheid regime?
Even when independencwe was achieved,and she became s senior member of her ex`s administration,was performance?
She is a very wealthy woman,and at her age,I really do not know what else she wants to achieve in life with these bizarre publicity stunts!

Where is Gracia MACHEL even though she didn't have children with MANDELA. We must respect MANDELA's choice and not do anything on his behalf.
