    The chance of any one of us dying as a pedestrian on the roads of Ghana is 12,492% greater than on the roads of the USA. Is the Ghanaian suicide rate the same, Shanana?

    I mean will you DON, cross the road by jumping over the railings to the other side of the road? I am sure you wont NO MATTER HOW LONG THE DISTANCE TO THE NEAREST BRIDGE!
    And especially when multiple deaths have been reported ...

    in city/urban area most people would walk across car bridges. if its rural then they need to ride tro-tro or taxi to closest bridge to cross

    You may be one of those many breaking the speed limit occasionally to be able to see all that.
    In other parts of the world pedestrians have the right of way... but clearly not on a motor way. In a state with high illiteracy ...

    What is wrong with Ghana.We have all the resources that Britain has not got but look at Ghana.Its like a village.Compare Ghana,Accra to Nairobi and you will see the difference.Mahama do something please

    its not a village road..its a hiway/freeway/motorway and you will die! same as in america if your cross 4 lanes

    "N1 Highway has killed over 200 people". The highway did not kill them. They were killed on the highway, while crossing or using it.

    you will get killed in usa if your cross a motorway/freeway or if your car breaks down in left lane. People are driving 70-80 miles per hour!

    People have a choice between the two. Walking another kilometer and getting home alive and walking 10 metres and ending up dead. That is the choice people have to make

    OH Ghana,when are we going to learn?When are we going to learn that running across a major highway is a stupid way to die.You are asking for development but do not want to sacrifice anything.
