No, NO, NO...the GW highway is like any highway in the world. If drivers veer across the road and kill people then it is sad. But if people cross the road and get killed then it is their wish to die instead of walking long distance to use an overhead.
I have even seen people crossing the road UNDER overhead bridges. Tweaaaaa, next question please. Mahama, other areas also need development. Don't use our hard earned money to construct more overheads for LAZY and STUPID people please.

The chance of any one of us dying as a pedestrian on the roads of Ghana is 12,492% greater than on the roads of the USA. Is the Ghanaian suicide rate the same, Shanana?

...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.
I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.
This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

NO, NO. NO... the GWBush Highway is NOT! like any highway in the world. Highways in Germany are not acsessible for pedestrians.
By the way, are you sure any Ghanaian engineer was among the planners? How do you construct a Highway across residential areas without adequate measures to screen off pedestrians?
I would support your argument if you talked about the "idiots" using the traffic lights areas as a free market

And especially when multiple deaths have been reported in the news about death1, death2,....
Are those getting killed dying to demonstrate how badly the N1 was constructed? Meeeeen, death is the last of lasts. Don, I have seen with my eyes fiili fiili people jumping over the railings just a few feet from a footbridge, and what does this mean? Means we will construct bridges 50 feet apart and some will not be using it. Let us not GLORIFY indiscipline and call A SPADE A SPADE.

in city/urban area most people would walk across car bridges. if its rural then they need to ride tro-tro or taxi to closest bridge to cross

In other parts of the world pedestrians have the right of way... but clearly not on a motor way. In a state with high illiteracy rates and high alcohol consumption... and since walking a long way means to get to the mountain or in this case the other side of the road like a chicken which you perhaps have never done...LOL...have done...Anyway you are right and I agree with your contribution i.e. lazy and stupid people. Did you mean Ghanaians? I hope not because that would be a government problem. The answer is agreeably more lights, speed controls and proper traffic lighted and manned pedestrian crossing points as well as the extra footbridges. I do not think people want to cross the road to be killed. Finally, Ghanaians have to be motivated and instructed to the rule of Ghana laws and in this case road fatalities and causes.

"N1 Highway has killed over 200 people". The highway did not kill them. They were killed on the highway, while crossing or using it.

People have a choice between the two. Walking another kilometer and getting home alive and walking 10 metres and ending up dead. That is the choice people have to make

OH Ghana, when are we going to learn? When are we going to learn that running across a major highway is a stupid way to die.You are asking for development but do not want to sacrifice anything.
