What was harmful about Dr Kumbuor's statement when he impartially cited instances of corrupt practices by both NDC and NPP? After all, if the sale of the Drillship was clean and without doubts, why has it commanded the headlines for so long, without any sign of abating any time now?

It seems to me that
Prof. Amoako Baah's assessment of K.T. as, “emotionally incompetent” is apt, given the fact, also, that he could not contain his emotions at the onset of the Drillship saga and rushed to make unguarded press statements which are now working against him.

I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

They are not at the same level and can never be and Kumbour knew that but for the sake of politics he pathetically attempted to equate the two. KT's language is what some people understand and I will never fault him for his language. If KT had not replied in kind, Prof Baah would never have come out to condemn Kumbour and that has been the bane of our so-called educated people. They sit by whilst falsehood is allowed to reign and when others respond in kind they hypocritically come out firing on all cylinders preaching virtue. Prof Baah should rather scold Kumbour for trying to muddy the waters instead of taking a dig at KT. Prof Baah has goofed.

What brought this whole D511 brouhaha, not an individual gambling with Ghana's money? What has happened to that individual so far? That plain stupidity had caused the Ghanaian taxpayer over £500,000 in lawyers' fees and the lawyers wanted another £700,000. Ghana had gone HIPC in 2001 and GNPC itself was broke, so where was the money to defend the case?

KT Hammond presented copious documents to show the trail of the sale and the remaining $3.5m. The cheque was presented to Mr Kpodo and he has confirmed that he received it and actually opened the account with it. So where does any reasonable person fault KT Hammond again, unless the English that has been used in the discussion so far is too difficult to understand?
