This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

AUTHOR : SULE ---------------In the 8 years that the Kufuor administration was in power, the country went HIPC and the NPP gov't put in place the needed policies and programs as well as pragmatic social intervention programs, and they made it clear that, they were not going to deal with these Bretton woods institutions. The economy grew and as at the time the Kufuor gov't was leaving power in 2008, Ghana was rated as a lower middle income economy.
In comes the dimwitted NDC gov't, and the results are there for all to see. During the administration of Kufuor, the Bretton woods institutions were there, but they had to beg to get Kufuor's gov't to listen to them and what they had on offer.
The current situation is just like the 80's and 90's when we had the PNDC and NDC gov'ts.
It is an undisputable fact that, the P(NDC) gov't does not have the mental capacity, acuity and the requisite brain power as well as the drive to achieve anything. They are simply inept and grossly incompetent and this is an undisputable fact. Governance is a serious business not for dimwits and the earlier, we all came to terms with this basic fact, the better it would be for our socio-economic developmental agenda.

Suspected wizard is a mental patient

Flying Wizard

It has finally been established that the suspected wizard, who reportedly crash-landed on the banks of River Okrudu at Kaimebre, a settlement near Kasoa in the Central Region last Wednesday morning, is a mental patient.

The man, according to the police, was receiving treatment at Pantang Hospital but disappeared last Monday from the health facility. Checks by the police at the hospital revealed that the patient, who is called Charles Allottey, was admitted to the mental hospital 12 years ago.

The Kasoa District Police Commander Superintendent Samuel Tabil Punobyin told DAILY GUIDE that authorities at the Pantang Hospital called for the patient after reading the story in Thursday, 28 November 2013 issue of the DAILY GUIDE.

The commander said the victim was manhandled by some residents who claimed he was a wizard because he had some puffy flesh on the breast that looked like a female breast.

“The man could not even talk well whenever he was asked a question by the police.”

Victim has since been transported to the Pantang Hospital to continue his medical treatment.

The suspected wizard looked frail, pale bore protruding breasts like a teenage girl.

His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng who claimed they found him crying for help.

The two brothers told DAILY GUIDE that the suspected wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of friends, including a medical doctor en route to Cape Coast for a meeting when he was forced down while flying over a church where an allnight vigil was being held.

“When we asked him where he was coming from, the man told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting for witches and wizards” he said.

Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his chest were breasts taken from his 16- year-old granddaughter and that he normally borrowed them for his night activities.

The two brothers said, not knowing what to do with the suspected wizard, they took him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help.

After the announcement on radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises of the radio station to catch a glimpse of the suspected wizard.

Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being lynched.

This story should have been in the entertainment column instead of the News column - if at all.

We should not tolerate the obvious lack of seriousness which some of these comedians who are posing as politicians at the highest levels of authority, exhibit.

Giving jokers like this woman this level of prominence or for that matter any kind of regard, is the oxygen that they need to continue fooling around with our country and our fate.

Are my fears that we are very comfortable with our deplorable level of development, legitimate?

Another chief gathered his people and they fought against Aduana and conquered them this group of people were Agona people who believe that they are wiser than anyone on this earth so they defeated the Adansi and they became part of them and some of them left to present day kumasi and its environs to seek an asylum. The Agona people also have their own believes, they believe in their wisdom given to them by God and their men also pamper their ladies and never mistreat women in their life, they use sensible tactics to defeated the Aduana that is why they were called denay3nkyer3 which is denkyera all these things happened you and I were not there not even the Europeans but yet still we fellow their twisted ways. The rising of Asante led by Oyoko tribe. Osei tutu the first, was serving in denkyera kingdom he was learning how to rule in aman hyia which is no called manhyia in the suburb of kumasi, chiefs in kumasi at that time were ruling in their own suburb not in a union state, Oyoko people were occupied only in manhyia where they ruled. Oyoko people have their own believes, they believe what they can do, they are aggressive, they are bold to face anything on their way, after the dead of Osei Tutu's uncle he became a king at manhyia, he then tried to gathered all the suburb chiefs to form a union to fight against the Agona people which is denkyera kingdom but don't get that is through Agona people who taught Osei Tutu Oyoko man how to rule. Osei Tutu succeeded in his movement which is called osa nti that is because of war he got support from Asona tribe, As3kyeri,etc with the exception of Agona tribe who were the occupant of the great kingdom. After he succeeded he then attacked the Brongs and fought several wars there so their number increased, he then turned his back to denkyera but never succeeded some years later Aduana from Adansi were under Denkyera rule joined the Oyoko tribe led by Osei Tutu to defeated the Agona tribe which is Denkyira after they defeated Denkyera they became mighty Asante’s and some of the Denkyera people began to pay homage to the Asante’s. Why they became mighty Asante’s after the defeating of Denkyera? because Denkyera was the strongest kingdom ever exist and the Asante’s took their title with the helped of Aduane people from Adansi and later they fought with Aduana people from Adansi and some of them left to settle different places. Many areas in the Eastern region stretching up to even Kwahu area, many areas in the northern Volta region such as Worawora and many other places, some places even outside of Ghana.

Trust me if Asantes had their own country that stretches from the North-West of Eastern Region to Eastern Ivory Coast, we would bring back all Asantes from outside, just like Israel and then leave the rest of Ghana to deal with these Trokosi parasites. How dare you to describe any other religion than Christianity as demonic? Is Buddhism demonic? Is Daoism demonic? Is Hindusim demonic? Is Judaism demonic? If not, why are you considering African religions or ancient indigenous beliefs in general as demonic? I wonder when Christians will stop claiming hegemony over all other religions.

Christians do make sacrifices, during any holy communion they are drinking the blood of Jesus Christ.The Latin word sacrificium, ‘sacrifice’, is derived from sacrum facere, "to make holy". In Catholic liturgy, to make something holy is to set it apart by "consecration". The Christians use this word for the central moment of the Mass when the priest says the words of Jesus Christ at the Last Supper over the bread and wine in front of an altar. There do exist various occult symbols and items, on top of it the legend of the holy grail. Christianity its by his history one of the cruelest religions.How many people have died in the name of Christ, Christianity and Catholicism? Thousands and millions were killed, who refused to accept Christianity and their holy places being destroyed.Entire cities had been wiped out in the name of Christianity. Not to mention the numerous religious wars i.e. Catholic extermination camps,Catholic terror in Vietnam,Rwanda Massacres (where the catholic church had been actively involved) of course it does not end there, it goes on with the killings of Indians in South America etc.

Degenerating African religions saying its backward and babaric is far from the truth. Its very sophisticated, if you take the time to analyze it.Trying to push away African spirituality without making an effort to understand it, will surely lead you astray.There are different religons in the world with different ways how to get close to God and our creator force. One cannot say one faith system is better or even superior to another.We all have a right to practise and follow what we believe in and what appeals to us. The Akans came to the present day area of Ghana, because they refused to accept Islam and did not want to engage in constant warefare with those who were trying to impose it upon them. They didnt come to Ghana to be forced into Christianity. If one wants to follow a foreign religion, let him/her do so. But they should not condem indigenous religious beliefs out of ignorance.

If one really has a problem with his/her own culture, then he must stop practising it! That person must stop in performing Akan naming ceremonies, stop conducting funerals in the Akan fashion, stop pouring libation, stop engaging in Akan festivals such as Akwasidae, stop the practise of customary marriages, even stop bearing an Akan soul/day names, since they have a spiritual connection to the cosmology of the Akan people. They must also avoid praising Nyame/Nyankopon since this is how the Akans referred to their creator.They must stop practising all aspects of their culture.One cannot say I embrace my culture, but I reject the spiritual aspect of it. This is not possible, one does not exist without the other.

Jew is just a name of religion, we are Hebrew-Aramaic folk of Jewish religion and culture.The first Akan was the son of Ezer, the son of Seir the Horite, the first foriegn conqueror of Egypt. Akan folk in this sense, are made up of Isreal-Edomites, Twi (Tawi/Egyptians) and Babylonians. Also the Akan symbol of KARAFOKOMA one of our impotant royal insignia is seen in a big shape on the ground in Pentagon with the inscription (intelligence Agency of the United states of America). How come our ancient spiritual symbol becomes a property of the United States?

Osei tutu the first, was serving in denkyera kingdom he was learning how to rule in aman hyia which is no called manhyia in the suburb of kumasi, chiefs in kumasi at that time were ruling in their own suburb not in a union state, Oyoko people were occupied only in manhyia where they ruled. Oyoko people have their own believes, they believe what they can do, they are aggressive, they are bold to face anything on their way, after the dead of Osei Tutu's uncle he became a king at manhyia, he then tried to gathered all the suburb chiefs to form a union to fight against the Agona people which is denkyera kingdom but don't get that is through Agona people who taught Osei Tutu Oyoko man how to rule. Osei Tutu succeeded in his movement which is called osa nti that is because of war he got support from Asona tribe, As3kyeri,etc with the exception of Agona tribe who were the occupant of the great kingdom. After he succeeded he then attacked the Brongs and fought several wars there so their number increased, he then turned his back to denkyera but never succeeded some years later Aduana from Adansi were under Denkyera rule joined the Oyoko tribe led by Osei Tutu to defeated the Agona tribe which is Denkyira after they defeated Denkyera they became mighty Asante’s and some of the Denkyera people began to pay homage to the Asante’s. Why they became mighty Asante’s after the defeating of Denkyera? because Denkyera was the strongest kingdom ever exist and the Asante’s took their title with the helped of Aduane people from Adansi and later they fought with Aduana people from Adansi and some of them left to settle different places.
