Project delay is the increase of the cost of the project. Since prices are not coming down on projects.

Nearly every food that go to Accra have to pass through Kumasi and that is why cost of living there is low. Common sense will tell you that as the epicenter of the country, Kumasi drives Ghana with its supply of most of the resources of the country: timber, gold, cocoa, food stuff and other agricultural products. I dare you to cut off from Kumasi and see where you will end up. Your days are numbered as the Chinese send you the warning signals.

What they fail to realize is that you can get away with that when dealing with the Ghanaian contractors but the Chinese, Germans and others will not tolerate that. They will simply stop working. This is the only way the Ghanaian system will change. Stop work until paid.
