It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution...

Does it pain you that President Mahama is fulfilling the pledges he made to Ghanaians? It is a shame that the NPP is treating Mahama like the way Busia,Danquah etc treated Osagyefo.

What you must appreciate is that Mahama saw the good work of his predecessor Kuffour and to continue with it.Mr.Kuffour,and for that matter,NPP should be proud of this policy rather than your useless comment.Please SHUT UP,and let the president move into his promised gear change.

The president only cut the sod. He has put up not one of the houses yet. Atta Mills cut the sod for the beginning of the 200,000 STX housing units. The rest of the story is history.

Btwn the two options the Prez. had b4 him (completing most of the buildings the previous govt. had embarked on which are presently 80% done and starting a whole new project), why did he for go a new project when his own govt. is saddled with the difficulty of even raising money for continuation of projects his former boss commenced? Do you remember this same govt. made pronunciations that they were holding back on new projects and will see to the finish of already commenced projects so as to ease the pressure of previous debts they owe contractors?
As for the lady ambassador, the least said about her action and statement, the better. Thanking the prez for a project that has not even seen the light of day.

Instead of rehabilitating all the housing projects that President Kuffour built, Mahama is wasting time to construct another ones. Most of these building started by Kuffour needs only fittings to make it complete. Why wasting money to build another ones? The money to be used by Mahama to build new ones can rehabilitate the existing ones before thinking of adding more. This is a reasoning of common sense.
