So if kevin prince boateng who was born in euroupe and has never played on a pitch like this in his life, tells ghanaians, he cant play in ghana, we dont understand him. All the other players grew up playing on sand and hard pitches in ghana so they are used to it. He told the authourities to water the pitch before the game to make it soft for his knees not to hurt, he was told there was no water. This is his career yet every ghanaian is insulting kvp instead of pointing fingers at those who cant mantain our pitches to bring it to international standard. He cant play on our pitches, until it is perfect He has chronic knee issue and needs to be looked after. Players who have problems like ledley king, rio and abou diaby can never play on hard surfaces and so is kevin. Is it not a shame that egypt who are in crisis are still mantaining their pitch to international standard and all we do in ghana is chop chop yet we want rewards. Common football pitc too we no dey fit mantain then we dey insult kvp, nonsense.

The problems we are facing as a country is caused by we the citizens. Our moral compasses are degraded to the highest extent thus, when we acquire official positions, we corrupt the whole system. We refuse to pay our bills, make illegal connections and cry foul when the service providers increase our tariffs. It would not surprise me if a large number of the people who are crying about the state of the economy are people who do not pay taxes, are connected illegally to electricity, or have tampered with their meters etc. We are supposed to be our own checks and balances and not the authorities only. The authorities are also naturally filled with the same kind of morally lacking personnel so the problem will persist until we instill some sense of moral accountability.
What really disgusts me is the attitude some people adopt by saying, "that is how the system is so you have to adapt to it". Who do you expect to make the changes for you?

That way it is off your books and the owner will have to maintain the pitch and facilities. How are gate fees from soccer matches disbursed?

Just maintaining the playing field of a major national sports stadium is even a problem yet we have lots of money to be embezzled.
