  today our country has the notorious reputation of being one of the most corrupt in the world thanks to pepeni and his band of thieves . we told everyone we knew he had no plan or program to develop the nation except pillage the little monies left and yet today the claim that they could not perform because of a petition . look at their ministers who anything more than 3 pages is a challenge to read talk less of projects whose summaries alone can be over 5000 pages , they are so lazy and selfish that nothing good can come from them . their chief ideologist of evil avenoor was killed and i had planned to go to his grave and urinate and relieve myself on him once every month but he cremated himself i guess i will do so instead on rawlings grave soon. workers are on strike because they know this azaa govt has no clue and in this day and age considering the wealth of the nation no one should work for less than 1000 cedis or 500$ but if free education was such a challenge how can they ever fathom such a reality . they are hopeless so we are preparing for our revolution and telling all righteous to sharpen their knives and bury their guns to wait for for the clarion call. they think they have fooled the Akans especially the fantis , a third of their votes came from the fantis but there is not a single substantiate minister who is a true fanti . they wage war against us Akans but when we come our and call foul they say we are liars . we are ready now so let them bring it on . long live the republic of Akan

  Bagbin should know that he is fighting not a corrupt man or men but a very corrupt organization supported by a very corrupt system that we all live in. If you touch one of them, you step on the balls of all of them and they will deal with you ruthlessly and mercilessly. He is therefore advised to be cautious and to tread carefully in his pursuit.
  
  He may have to retreat for now and take stock of his own position in govt and Ghanaian society.
  
  I however hope he has also organized anti-corruption allies in the NDC (if there are any), for this fight. If not, I sadly bid him an early adieu.
  
  Even though Bagbin is fighting on the side of honesty and probity, it surprises me how he can adopt such a reckless and naive approach of dealing with the canker. First of all he wantonly jumps into the fray like a bull in a china shop and gives chance to insignificant and despicable upstarts like Stan Dogbe to demean him.
  
  One wonders what these people, like Bagbin, have been doing in the political domain for all these years and not learning anything on the field of play. Couldn't he at least have taken a cue from Amidu who also started in infantile fits and starts and paid dearly for it initially. Its a little late now, but I would still recommend that they should both read "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli.

  Whenever a flag is raised over corruption by any official of the Government or the NDC party the President sets up a commission to investigate past officials of the previous party, shifting public minds away from the real problems. People like Hanna Bissiw, Okudjeto Ablakwa, and the former Minister who used the Government's money to buy expensive BMW should have been investigated and prosecuted for stealing Government's money to enrich themselves. He Mahama must be investigated together with his brother for the unusual Jets he a black man from an impoverished sub sahara Africa owns. At what decision did the Government arrive after the investigation of a foreign plane loaded with billions of dollars worth of gold smuggled out of the country and intercepted in Turkey ? Had it not been the interception it would not have come out. How many helicopters fly across the borders each day with loads of gold shipped out of the country by foreign nationals with complicity of government officials ? Visas which ordinarily must be processed before setting foot on oour soil are given to foreign nationals after they arrive here on our soil. So many things go wrong with this present administration that it shocks at compilation. After weeks of compiling so many wrongdoings Ghanaians may be shocked to learn hundreds of compiled, detailed list of ills perpetrated by officials at all levels. Thieves ! Why was Betty Iddrisu left off the hooks of investigation after millions were stolen through judgement debt under her supervision? Why was Amissah rewarded with Vice Presidency even after he unlawfully authorized opening the bank vaults for money to be given to Alfred Agbesi Wayome and co in spite of President Mills's order against such a payment ? THIEVES !! The list goes on and on !
  
  Ghana is bleeding so profusely and shamefully, unable to pay workers and contractors because of these unscrupulous officials ? But who fights for Ghana ? Who fights for the ordinary Ghanaian who helplessly suffers the humiliation of poverty and want ? THIEVES and loud-mouthed politicians are dragging the country into collapse. Where is the money for our oil - the proceeds of which could have been used to build three cities and roads across the nation each month ? How do toll boothes account for the money they collect ? No reliable process of accountability : drivers just pay and leave with some fake tickets issued at discreation. Wake up Ghana !! Even the Tax Collection Agency is stealing from us while the President sits and watches. The beautiful Road to Peduase Mountains is facing serious Rock-slide threatening passage and lives. The President goes there almost each week, sees this imminent danger but, like most of his reactions, does nothing about - probably waiting for disaster to turn into a political event while lives are wasted at the hands of negligence. This Mahama guy is very incompetent and accessory to most of the crimanal acts perpetrated by his cronies in government. Ghana needs clean and competent people to govern not this disappointing bunch who cant even complete simple road constructions that would ordinarily take few weeks to accomplish. The entire country is pulverised with dust, filth and litter all over. Sanitation is a critical issue. There is a zero chance of survival in the invent of a major outbreak of disease because there is no money reserved for it. Poor Leadership ! It was comical to watch Ofosu Ampofo distribute hundreds of cedis to church goers and taxi drivers in Koforidua and Tema and many folks he did not even know, all for political vote buying. All officials whether past or present who took our money must be investigated, prosecuted and jailed publicly - both NDC and NPP. I wish I were the president for only one week ! All you thieves would be jailed - some for life for making Ghanaians suffer that much - and the money forcibly retrieved. THIEVES !!

And how come these people turn to know all the answers about curruption when they lose thier position and forgets about them as soon as they are given a ministerialappointment. I remember and ET Mensah did same to Mills, attacking the Mills at every oppourtunity, as soon as they were given appoinments, they all became silent. They shouldnt think some of us are fools. We can read in between the lines to know exactly what this is all about. If he thinks he is soo popular that he can win an election, he should avail himself in 2016 for him to be shown his smoothness level as we did to Konadu. This old fools dont even know that it was Mahama that Ghanaians voted for and not NDC. Instead of them to assist him to rule, they are out of enviness trying to destroy him. Even Rawlings and Konadu couldnt destroy him, cant you guys see that this Man was just put there by God.   Is this simply a turf war, two elephants fighting or signs of a kingdom divided? The issue of corruption is one that must be recognised be government including the presidency, and the president must be seen to be leading in rooting it out.
  
  You do not need another member of the president's cabinet/team to point that out. It is therefore wholly foolish and inappropriate for the presidency or the director of communications to seek to condemn another member of the government when he deems it fit to air his views in public.
  
  After all the president in various speeches has sought to highlight the fact that corruption exists in various forms and some of us have agreed with that assertion. The trouble is: is it enough just to mention it or rather better to DO SOMETHING SERIOUS, TANGIBLE AND CREDIBLE about it?
  
  Unless the president acts DECISIVELY and AUTHORITATIVELY on the issue of corruption, sparing no one (even if it means within his own 'nuclear household', then so he must otherwise he is in danger of being tied with the same brush (even is he is not in fact corrupt himself).
  
  Whilst I think some advice to the president is best given in private (including from his own appointees), it is also quite appropriate in my view for issues of such national importance to be aired in public if those who wish to see these matters tackled decisively feel frustrated that the process is too slow.
  
  There are little glimpses of the government's attempt to address issues of corruption and a number of individuals and organisations have been under the spotlight lately. However there are simply too many of these issues and the number of people involved is protean requiring root and branch approaches, perhaps via a PRESIDENTIAL TASK FORCE ON CORRUPTION to really bring the message home to bear significantly on those found culpable.
  
  For me it must be ZERO TOLERANCE for corruption and even if my own sibling in a position of authority is found wanting, trust me, I will act and do so decisively in the interests of the State and to serve as an example and send out a clear message that the business of good governance is accountability at all levels.
  
  The fact is, we do not need the barrel of a gun, in short the military or a dictatorship to 'CLEAN OR KEEP THE HOUSE IN ORDER'. WHAT WE NEED ARE MEN AND WOMEN OF INTEGRITY AND CREDIBILITY with no 'skeletons in their cupboards' willing and able to take on this fight. Ghanaians rather respect and admire those who stand for the truth and who are prepared to stick their neck out or 'tackle the bull (corruption) by the horn.
  
  I support the call for the president to show leadership in dealing with the issue of corruption and though it may hurt people even close to him, in the long run Ghanaians and posterity will judge him kindly for such a BRAVE ACT OF LEADERSHIP.
  
  It is wholly wrong for 'boot lickers' and 'yes men' to surround the president and / or seek to 'mislead' him and that is something he ought to be aware of, and to be weary of. It is better to listen to those who will tell the truth to your face.
  
  I may add also that there are many both in and out of government, from all the various parties who are mired in corruption to their necks and so the root and branch approach will have to be ruthless, and know no personalities nor do any favours to anyone.
  
  Ours is a democracy and for it to function properly and for all to feel they are partakers of it, we need to transform both our thinking (renewing of the mind) and our way of doing things including politics, business, education and even how we run our homes.
  
  The 'everybody de chop for him work side' mentality has never worked, will never work and remains part of our core problem as a nation state. The comparison with what pertains in other countries is both a redundant argument and a foolish way of saying just because we 'chop' less than others makes it right.
  
  I believe we can achieve a decent status quo where people abhor corruption, cheating, bribery and all other forms of ill which affects our governance, irrespective of the trappings and the temptations that come with them.
  
  I would also like to see the day when an intelligent, qualified woman willing to work for their country, a corporation or set up a business will not need to do any favours to anyone in an influential position in order to make a headway. Surely, even such immoral behaviours are at the heart of the corruption we talk about and in this sense, trust me, there are many all over the country who are equally GUILTY.
  
  It is never too late to reverse the status quo and transform our nation of massive 'mega church-goers' and zealous worshippers of all faiths, who are religious on Sundays and during days of prayer camps, fasts and religious 'crusades' but on a daily basis rely on the trappings of ill-gotten fodder as a means of 'making it (wa ye yie).
  
  Let us stand out and be counted folks!!! Let us rise above corruption in all its forms and I admonish the president to take the lead and demonstrate his personal passion and commitment for this ZERO TOLERANCE approach, and let us follow in his example as he leads.

Mahama is head of state and Head of Government and has to be accorded the courtesies and the respect for holding these offices. There are also protocols that have to be observed when dealing with him in either position. Bagbin to make contact with Mahama (not as a personal friend) but in his official position is not above these protocols.
  
  How small can all these people be. This is a man who was a leader of Government business for along time and should know better. It will be recalled that he was unto this tactic when he was leader of Government Business and felt that his office was above that of the President Mills . He can be remembered by his many threats to remove Ministers from office by virtue of his own interpretation of the Constitution. He is at it again with threats to this President.
  
  Let President Mahama take note of him only for the purpose of ignoring him.
  
  There are constitutional channels of making contact with Mahama as President of the country even for Ministers of the government. There are also party channels for making contact with Mahama as leader of the NDC
  
  There is something called statesman in governance. A man of this experience should be thinking about the responsibilities and the restraints these confer on him when making public statements

  The strongest solution to our problem(s) is power of unity. It's our duty to work for it. Thereby, follows these principles:
  (a). Be determined: Unity involves two or more people. Therefore, the first step is our determination in agreement with others involved.
  (b). Sow the seed of Unity: Unity is just like seed sowing in a soil that germinates and later on brings fruits. What you sow is what you reap.
  The Bible says "Can two walk together without an agreement?" (Amos 3:3). It's our agreement (to be united) with God and each other that will give us victory over all our problems.

  Alban Bagbin has shocked his admirers concerning his mentality about how to govern.
  As former minister at 2 different times, an honourable member of parliament on the ticket of the ruling government, a former majority leader and one of the president's only 3 "wise men", it is difficult to understand where his frustrations are coming from.
  Anyone who understands the system of governance knows that a government official does not need to regularly meet face-to-face with the president to function efficiently. If Alban Bagbin wants the whole world to believe that he is more concerned about fighting corruption than the president, then he is simply a hypocrite. The president has appointed his appointees like Bagbin so that they can work and produce results and not to be whining like babes.
  As senior lawyer, Bagbin should know that, the revelations in reports that raise allegations against individuals are not strong evidences for prosecution in court. More concrete evidence need to be assembled before going to court otherwise it is a fruitless venture.
  It is a shame for Alban Bagbin to imagine that the president should be at his beck and call - it should be the other way round.
  Alban Bagbin has nothing to gain by towing cheap populist agenda just to hit the headlines. Rather, he is proving to be fickle-minded and a bad team player. He has disgraced himself

  All along, the Al-Haj Newspaper has been mentioning a BIG SHOT of the NDC party from the NORTH is not happy with the President and his ways. NOW we know, at least that Hon. Bagbin is one of them, and for the very wrong reasons too. You see, they (He and several others known as the big people in the NDC) did it to Mills and he honored them with jobs, jobs that they came in and did virtually nothing. At best, Bagbin complained that he was shifted to a new ministry in less than 8 months. Today, it is manifesting that he could not perform when he was given the opportunity to serve.
  
  If I were him, I would honorably resign, trust me. He has lost that confidence to walk to the President to tell him anything. If the President listens at all, it will be just part of his normal self of listening to every thumb dick and hurry, lol, sorry my bad words, but hey, Bagbin lost it, moreso the counsel that comes from Hon. Hannah Tetteh, indirectly, the President has told him to shut u and get to work or quit.
  
  And I am happy that these are happening. Not so the President will have problems in his house, but he will know very early those who have personal interest and are impatient. These old folks have run out of ideas. We honestly need a very vibrant youth with the skill to turn things around. Last night, I was listening to Dr. Kpesah Whyte, and I was really glad that he has been drawn in to assist turn things around. These are the kinds of brains that the Bagbins cannot stand and feel angry within. Let them make noise and we will know them and they will give the President the room to do away with them fast. You see, it is their likes who do the bad things and it is difficult for the President to punish them....we brought you to power, so give us this, else...what a threat. Shame Bagbin and shame in a big way

  Bagbin's attitude is very typical of Ghanaians here in the USA.You will find that in most churches where a Ghanaian is the Pastor. When they are in need the go and pretend to be members of a church whose pastor is a Ghanaian so they can get help, but as soon as they get the help they need, they abandon the pastor, take some of the members and either form a new church or go join another church. When you confront they respond 'Bagbinlically','I am serving Christ and not the Pastor.In New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia,Texas and North Carolina, you will find this uncoothed attitudes thriving very strongly. In a North Carolina's third largest city called Greensboro, this wicked attitude of some Ghanaians towards a Pastor who literally lays his whole life down for them, charging them not a dime has caused the struggling of his church.It is a very, very big shame, the UNGRATEFUL NATURE OF SOME GHANAANS. THERE ARE ONLY TWO WORDS THAT BEST DESCRIBE WHY WE ACT THAT WAY :ENVY,JEALOUSY. Which means that Mr. Bagbin (bag/dust bin)is full of envy and Jealosy
