There is massive fraud everywhere, not only in Korle-bu. Our successive governments and administrators of all public organizations simply were/are block heads, did not know how to establish any form of internal controls to stop the leak. How old is the Institute of Chartered accountants Ghana? How old is the School of Administration in Legon? How long have we introduced B.Com in Cape Vars? Why should Ghana be suffereing from simple internal control procedures to protet revenue?
The mentality of all of them is to loot hence the lukeworm attitude to control the system.

The sad part of all these is that, no one goes to prison or even fired from their jobs for such offense.

When are we going to start sending people to firing squads or giving them long prison sentences for looting the country? Let's make the practice unattractive with such actions in order to deter others from indulging in it.

The trade mark of the Mahama-led administration is massive corruption everywhere one turns to. Early in the 4 year administration, this government is bedevilled with serious corruption. By the time this government completes its first term and only term in the office, the coffers of this country would have been completely depleted.
One thing I can also observe about this government is the penchant for spending money. The records speak volume to this aspect. The World bank has already warned the government about the spending spree and has warned it.
My only warning to the good people of Ghana is to think twice when making the choice of government in 2016. If this country warns its fortunes to be turned around for the better then the Mahama led administration should be taken out of power. Alternatively If the NDC will think of putting a capable person forward as their representative which they will never do, the party can be considered of another opportunity to administer the country.
Governments in Africa are over 95% corrupt but the present government has started too early in its administration which does not speak well of the president who heads the government.

Those of you who were little or were not born at the time Liman was overthrown, the corruption under that government was no where near what we are seeing today. Ghana is like a rotten meat put on a burning fire. It is a disgrace to see such massive and unpardonable rot under this government and yet, NDC says it is on course of implementing its "Better Ghana Agenda" for those who cannot see the damage this reckless government is doing to the nation. Look, even an can be voted as president but cannot rule as president. That is what is happening in Ghana at the moment but as I said earlier, "tribalism" is to be blamed because there is no way NDC can manage the nation. That is an absolute fact because they know they are not good at managing anything today nor tomorrow and Ghana, currently, is at a cross road. Most Ghanaians are desperate with no hope.

Corruption is endermic in the Ghanaian society; it doesn't matter whether it's NDC, NPP or "ABC" in power. Ghanaians have the propensity to offer bribes or take bribes once a government employee is involved. I doubt if accountants in a private clinic will have the guts to reduce patients' bill by that much and expect to have enough cashflow to pay staff salaries and wages plus other business expenses.
