  Why this company help build a refinery so that we can at least more benefits form the crude oil. There is no benefit for the ordinary person. We could use the tar to pave our poor roads as is done in Nigeria. When can we start putting up first class roads like the ones in Nigeria? The money derived from the oil sales goes to some few crooks in the government and oil establishment. This is a cheat and insult. Soon everything will be depleted and we shall have nothing to boost of. Shame on you

  It interest in the West Cape Three Points is about 26.4 percent while that of the Jubilee field is 36.5 percent.'
  
  What the bloody hell is going on?
  
  Why do we allow foreign companies to exploit our resources and salt away the profits to our detriment? Why then will we not face fiscal problems and have to borrow externally to balance the books?
  
  It is time we woke up to reality as a country. We have all the resources we need, and yet we remain impoverished because of our lack of wisdom.
  
  We need to take control of our resources and exploit them for the benefit of all our people. Let us stop dishing out concessions to foreign companies, and equip GNPC to exploit our oil and GNGC our gas. We must set up companies to exploit our abundant mineral resources. Let us train our young men and women to acquire relevant skills to work for these companies.
