...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.
I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.
This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

Experts from USA were brought in to proof that, but the report never was. When he drinks, all that he spews are nonsense. He thinks he is rather sounding brave for the NONSENSE talk not knowing he is rather ridiculing himself. Has he forgotten that he run away from Liberia during the civil war? Why is he now boasting as a brave soldier? Tell him he did not work or serve for his rank. It is rather JJ Rawlings who for the of lack of senior officers in his BARBARIC government raised him to that rank for a mere face lift of his government. He does not deserve the rank of Brigadier General. Stupid him.

Comments from people like this proves the point that all those fat Hollywood-style salaries that are paid to senior officials in this country is unwarranted and simply a waste of resources. We are now seeing their true worth.

My view is that if the public sector is costing Ghana too much and the workers are still demanding higher wages despite the fact that it is not productive then it should be trimmed down so we bring Government expenditure under control and not run this whole economy to the ground for all of us.

INFO TO. H.E.PRESIDENT OF GHANA JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA
H.E.VICE PRESIDENT OF GHANA AMISSAH ARTHUR
HON. MINISTER OF EDUCATION
GHANA NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TEACHERS {GNAT}
SUBJECT, THIS IS TO RESPECTFULLY AND ALSO IN VIEW OF THE COURTESY OF DECENCY OF THE NOBLE ROLE NAGRAT AND GNAT PERFORM AND THE PROTECTION OF THE BEST NATIONAL INTEREST AND THE BEST NATIONAL INTEREST OF OUR DEAR CHILDREN AND STUDENTS AND TO PROTECT SUCH RELATED INTEREST AT THIS VERY CRUCIAL MOMENT THAT I AM RESPECTFULLY AND HUMBLY CALLING ON NAGRAT AND GNAT EXECUTIVES AND MEMBERS TO CONSIDER OF THE ABOVE BEST NATIONAL INTERESTS TO CALL OFF IMMEDIATELY THE STRIKE ACTION NAGRAT EMBARKED UPON AND TO RESORT TO DIALOGUE TO RESOLVE ALL OUTSTANDING ISSUES WITH THE GOVERNMENT.
THIS IS BECAUSE I AM NO DOUBT AWARE OF THE NOBLE ROLES NAGRAT AND GNAT MEMBERS, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS OUR DEAR TEACHERS AND TUTORS PERFORMED AND ITS RELATED IMPORTANCE CANNOT BE OVER-EMPHASIZED OR UNDER-ESTIMATED.
HOWEVER, OUR DEAR CHILDREN AND STUDENTS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS SACRIFICIAL LAMBS SO THAT THEY WOULD NEITHER WRITE THEIR FINAL EXTERNAL EXAMINATIONS AND INTERNAL EXAMINATIONS NOR TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES SUCCESSFULLY.
THAT WE ALL KNOW THE REPERCURSION SUCH ACTS WOULD CAUSE OUR DEAR CHILDREN AND STUDENTS AND FOR THAT MATTER ALL THEIR TOILS AND HARD WORK INCLUDING THE TEACHERS AND TUTORS THEMSELVES WOULD BECOME FRUITLESS. THIS IS BECAUSE ALL THAT OUR DEAR TEACHERS AND TUTORS HAVE TOILED AND WORKED ALSO HARD AND THE CHILDREN AND STUDENTS HAVE ALSO WORKED HARD AND STUDIED AND SOME BURNING THE MIDNIGHT CANDLE WHICH IS NOW TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR BY THE WAEC EXTERNAL EXAMINATION SEEK TO TEST AND TO AWARD CERTIFICATES TO THE STUDENTS TO HELP THEM PROGRESS ACCORDINGLY TO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS AND UNIVERSITIES WOULD BECOME JEOPARDIZE AND THE TEACHERS AND TUTORS THEMSELVES WOULD NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO MEASURE THEIR YOUR PERFORMANCE BASE UPON THE OVER ALL PERFORMANCE OF OUR DEAR STUDENTS TO ENABLE THE TUTORS AND TEACHERS TO ADOPT NEW STRATEGY TO HELP PROMOTE EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE.
IT IS THEREFORE MY RESPECTFUL AND HUMBLE SUBMISSION THAT IT IS THE TEST AND EXAMINATIONS THAT HELP TUTORS AND TEACHERS THEMSELVES TO EVALUATE THEIR OWN PERFORMANCE.
THAT AT THIS PARTICULAR JUNCTURE, I WOULD RESPECTFULLY AND HUMBLY APPEAL TO ALL MEMBERS OF NAGRAT AND GNAT TO THINK ABOUT THE BEST NATIONAL INTEREST AT THIS PARTICULAR TIME OF GHANA TAKING COGNIZANCE OF THE FACT THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS JUST OVER COME THE SUPREME COURT 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS PETITION CHALLENGED WHICH LASTED FOR ALMOST EIGHT (8) MONTHS AND I CAN RESPECTFULLY AND REASONABLY ASSERT THAT IT AFFECTED THE ECONOMY OF GHANA SINCE THE WORLD AND GHANA'S FRIENDS ADOPTED AS ANY REASONABLE PERSON OR COUNTRY WOULD HAVE DONE "THE WAIT AND SEE ATTITUDINAL SYNDROME" AND OUR DEAR TEACHERS HAVE TO REASONABLY UNDERSTOOD THE POSITION OF THE GOVERNMENT AND TO ALSO GIVE THE GOVERNMENT A REASONABLE TIME TO HELP PROMOTE THE QUALITY GOOD OF THE PEOPLE AND IN THE INSTANT CASE OUR DEAR TEACHERS AND WORKERS.
THAT THE ESSENCE AND "SINE QUA NON" OF POLITICS ITSELF IS "TO PROMOTE THE QUALITY GOOD OF THE PEOPLE" AND THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA UNDER THE ABLE LEADERSHIP OF H.E.PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS NOBLE OBJECTIVES.
THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS COMMITTED TO THE BETTER GHANA AGENDA AND ALSO COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF SERVICE FOR ALL WORKERS BUT IT ALL NEED TIME AND WE SHOULD ALSO UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT SUCH QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY TAKES TIME AND THAT "TIME IS A FACTOR" THEREFORE DEDICATED AND OUR DEAR GENUINE TEACHERS AND WORKERS WOULD ALLOW GOVERNMENT REASONABLE TIME AND THROUGH DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT TOGETHER THE ECONOMY WOULD IMPROVE AND THEREBY ITS REPLICA EFFECT WOULD BE POSITIVELY FELT BY ALL AND SUNDRY.
THAT IT IS TIME FOR ALL OF US TO REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE GHANA AS OUR DEAR COUNTRY AND THAT GHANA IS FOR ALL OF US AND TOGETHER WITH PEOPLE OF GOODWILL TOWARDS GHANA AND GHANA FRIENDS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD CAN BUILD AND MAKE GHANA A VERY PROSPEROUS AND PEACEFUL COUNTRY FOR ALL OF US INCLUDING THOSE WHO LOVE GHANA AND ARE IN GHANA AND EVEN GENERATIONS TO BE BORN AND ALSO TO COME TO GHANA.
IT IS AT THESE RELATED BACKDROPS THAT WE CAUTION OURSELVES BEFORE WE EMBARKED ON MAKING CERTAIN UTTERANCES AND REMARKS SINCE LOVE, UNITY IN DIVERSITY AND PEACE ARE THE HALLMARKS OF DEVELOPMENT. THAT TOGETHER WE CAN AND TOGETHER WE WILL BUT DIVIDED WE MAY---?
IN FACT, AT THIS JUNCTURE, I WOULD LIKE REASONABLE GHANAIAN AND FRIENDS OF GHANA TO PONDER AS ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION WITH COMMON DESTINY TO PAUSE AND REFLECT TO PUT THE MISSING LINK ABOVE AND ALSO TO ANSWER THE RELATED RHETORIC QUESTION PERSONALLY, INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A PEOPLE AND TO RESPECTFULLY CONSIDER TO CALL OFF ANY PENDING STRIKE ACTIONS AND LET US RESOLVE TO BE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS KEEPERS AND TO MAKE GHANA GREAT, PROSPEROUS AND PEACEFUL.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED.
GOD BLESS GHANA AND LONG LIVE GHANA.

Analyst I agree with you partially, on the score that the MPs threaten the executive and all other public sector workers took a cue. This is the consequence of over zealousness and greed. But the Prof is very much right and this is exactly in line with what General Rtd. Nunoo Mensah said at the weekend, "get out if the kitchen is too hot for you", Simple.
Look, those of us in the private sector take far less than what these public and civil service staff take home. Yet we in the private sector are more productive and produce the bulk of Ghana's wealth. Yet, we have no avenues of going on strike unless management is too recalcitrant to listen and trump upon our "rights" not privileges. Yet, the slightest of things, strike, what lawless irresponsible state are we developing? God bless us all

The NLM/UP and current NPP are noted for using any means necessary to criticise, discredit or jump into any support if they are in opposition. They criticised anything Dr Kwame Nkrumah did, including our Independence, Akosombo Dam, Tema Harbour, Tema Motorway, GIHOC, and Schools. They have been criticising `Dumso-Dumso`, as if they generated more power in JA Kufour's government; crying electoral fraud when there was none and held the country at ransom for 8 good months. Today, their target is to use civil servants strike. Ghana is the only country which spends more than 10% of its GDP on salaries. Ever since the Single Spine salary. If Ghana spends more GHC4.7BN on salaries for only 6 MONTHS on 700,000 workers, how much revenue is generated by these workers? We must not be greedy and selfish. There are millions of school leavers who cannot get job and they are blaming the government. At the ministries, departments and other offices, their output is even below expectation. Yet they strike action is justifiable by the opposition. Yes, Nunoo-Mensah is right, if you can't cope with the situation, 'The door is in front of you'. Government spends millions to train doctors, scientists, teachers, lawyers etc but none of them have produced anything that the country can boast of. They go abroad only to enrich themselves. I believe the government should prepare unemployed graduates if these greedy ones are not content of their pay. I think NPP should stop their hypocrisy and give us a break, because they are not better.

You did not blame workers when you were dishing out heavy sums to Woyomi, GYEEDA and the rest,. But now workers have to suffer and be blamed for all your folly.
