I agree 100% Even my 5 year old is more intelligent than this so called Minister. I think what these NDC wannabees have forgotten is that a ministerial appointment is for policy-making and not for throwing volleys of invectives at whoever dares to disagree with government or express a concern. I submit that a minister's role is to develop sector policies as inputs to national policy- making. Unfortunately, right from the Flagstaff house, office holders have missed this dimension of their work. That is why to date mahama's illegal government has failed to provide Ghana with any policy direction. Pride, show of power, corruption, insensitivity to the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian, lies, propaganda, and invectives are the hall marks of the NDC of to-day. These characteristics do not promote development; they inhibit development. As long as development is inhibited, the economy will not expand, and this will spawn more and more labor unrests. The intellectually retarded Yamin does not get this.

John Mahama's government has no sense of shame to make all these useless comments to Ghanaians. A man in the private sector and a couple of his friends had just finished a round of golf at the country club and they were changing their shoes when a cell phone on the bench rang. The man picked it up and answered it.
"Hi honey," said the woman on the other end.
"Hi honey," replied the man.
"I was just calling to tell you about this fur coat I found today. It's beautiful fox fur and I just love the way it looks on me. It's on sale too, a real bargain. It's down to $2000 from $4000. Can I get it?" The man thought about it for a second and said, "You're sure it's a good deal?"
"Oh yes," replied the woman.
"Okay then, I guess you can get it," replied the man.
The woman continued, "Oh, and you know how we've been thinking about getting rid of the Lexus and getting a new Jaguar? Well, I went to the dealership today and the guy gave me a real deal. He said he'd lower the price from $50,000 to $35,000 just for me. Can I get it?"
The man thought a little harder and said,"If you're sure it's a good deal, then yes, go ahead and get the Jaguar."
The woman continued again. "Oh, one last thing, honey. Remember that house we saw last month that we really liked, but decided we'd wait and think about? Well, it's on the market again, so I checked the price. It's down to $450,000 and I checked with the bank and we have enough in the checking account so that I can just write a check. Should I get it?"
The man got a frown on his face and said, "See if you can get them down to $420,000. If they'll go down to that, go ahead and get it."
The woman was extremely excited. "Okay honey, thank you so much! I'll see you when I get home! Bye!"
"Bye," said the man. He hung up the phone and looked at the other men in the locker room and said, "Does anyone know whose phone this is?"

In all this,I blame the lose constitution that allow one parent ghanaian into our local politics.I equally blame the no educational qualification requirement set up for political position and the exccesive power the president have.
I believe if we reduce the power of the president many problems will take care of itself.we shall see more of the institutions will start to work well without govt interferance. To cut the long storey short allow the organisational chat to work.this will lessen the peeved worker to give up his best.Raise the educational requirement into politics at all level and it will weed out these unwanted elements in the system.a politician needs to educate him or herself how to talk in public.a politition must mind public opinion.

Generally, Mr. Yamin is right. Former president John Kufour once remarked that Ghanaians are lazy people, and he was taken to task for stating a truth. Those who hurled abusive language at Mr. Yamin should rather be making reasoned arguments as to why they disagreed with him. To make a reasoned argument requires a lot of effort, something those who write abusive comments appear incapable of doing. We have two major problems in Ghana. First, public sector workers are too many and, above all, they are the least productive members of our society. Second, unwillingness go into self-employment. Self-employment takes a lot of discipline and hard work, and Ghanaians don't have what it takes to succeed. To add to what Mr. Yamin has said, government and TUC should develop a formular that links productivity with pay. It is a simple economic truth that you cannot have what you don't produce!

Some of the assertions made by Yamin to the workers intending on embarking on strikes to go out to the private sector if their goal is having better salaries is right, however, going 21 months without salary favours corruption and pilfering of the public purse.Yamin receives well packed allowances to keep going even without his salary for 100 years as corruption is common place in Ghana, and as he is a minister we all know their penchant of public assets pilferings.

Tax paying Ghanaian should understand that the government is YOU and they are spending YOUR money !
Cut the number of ministries to 10 !
Every ministry should cut jobs 50%.
Privatize every non-essential governmental services.
Sell of all ministerial and staff residences at prime location at on open action and use that to reduce our deficit.
Pay the remaining ministers and public servants well, and make it clear that any act of corruption and mismanaging of state funds will immediately result in dismissal and prosecution.
Its time that all Ghanaians understand, that money you don't have you can't spend.
You don't work you don't get pay, in Europe Thatcher made England understand everybody in Ghana we have Nuno-Mensah and Yamin.

I don't blame the minister, I blame Ghanaians because Ghanaians did nothing to stop the payment of 7000 Ghc to MPs. Lesson learned.
