In future, if he chooses to contest for, and becomes a CAF official, he should remember that GHANA is the 'football light' of Africa.

Both Egypt and Ghana should have qualified to the world cup. Africa's format was a disgrace and idiotic. Aboutrika and Michael Essien were the 2 greatest soccer players in Africa this decade.

You forgot a certain Mr Drogba, then omitted Mr Eto'o and did not mention another one Mr Yaya Toure. These are fine players from Africa too.

We go through to Brazil and Egypt scatter. Aside from AbouTrika, I am sure players like Gomah and others will also retire after Ghana have score 4-1 against Egypt in Cairo on November 19. God bless Ghana.

This would be a shame to see a football legend retire in such circumstances. Bradley did a miserable job selecting the best players for the national team. He only got 2-4 players right out of the entire squad he sent to Ghana. Not enough experience at the world stage for sure. Aboutrika is a truly world class player and his goals and moments will always be in our minds and hearts to cherish for ever. Bradley, though he believes he tried his best had enough American arrogance in him to cause the humulating defeat of the Egyptian Football team to Ghana, much like the his government and military. He said nervousness got the better of his players but that is total crap because this was not the first Egypt ever played Ghana at the international stage. If the team was nervous it would only be due to Bradley himself who put a tremendous amount of pressure on the players to prove himself (selection of new inexperienced players) right without regard to rationale. I hope to see Aboutrika coach Egypt for a very very long time and produce the quality players and talent Egypt deserves and has just like Captan Hassan Shehata did for a long time. I think Trika can learn from Shehata and use him as a model for success. Another reason for failure is the fact Egypt does not play enough European teams like the US national team did and continues to do which improved its level on the international stage in a very short period of time relatively speaking. Football in Egypt is the #1 sport and deserves a much better teams and opponents when playing friendlies - they need to play teams from Europe and South America on a regular basis so they can overcome this problem for once and for all. The best African players and the most experienced are those who played and developed in Europe. The same goes for any other nationality players. Aboutrika - we love you on and off the field. We love you for your talent, ethics, beliefs, manners, humility and class. May Allah bless you for ever in this life and the hereafter. Regards - Mohammed.

as a young legend you need not quit but rather change your status to naturalize in one of the African countries and see your dreams in the world cup.
