The pilgrims are complaining and yet you the politicians including the President is insisting this years Hajj is the best.

when you are outside the country except a trip to the ghanian embassy..Gov job is to provide water,lites,rubbish removal,hospitals,schools,police...No More! The usa gov will not finance your trip to Mecca or Israel...Unless y ...

I agree. This is not the responsibility of the govt. If this Hajj is a problem then stop going there. If it is individual's religious demand then face the consequence. This happens every year and nobody takes a lesson from it ...

Managing a crowd this big in any foreign land may be a bit frustrating
to our fellow Ghanaians,especially if it is their first trip away from home.

I am appealing to the organizers and,esp. to our Deputy Information and Media Relations Minister,Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed to seriously consider a sizeable number of Ghanaians taking this holy trip in future to avoid such in-humane hassels.

I feel for their concerns noted above in a foreign land.

Why can't the Muslims arrange this trip themselves? Why are Muslims always looking for favors from the government? This is one of the reasons why every government uses Muslims for their political ends.

Muslims should know that no religious sect in the country relies on the government to discharge their religious duties.

Pilgrimage to Mecca is a means tested duty. If you do not have the means, it is not obligatory on you as a Muslim. It is a religious duty and not a title seeking contest.
