It is very important that AA succeeds bcos it would help remove the sickness of inferiority complex from the thinking of many Ghanians and instil confidence in them. Look at the tons of money wasted on foreign inferior coaches in the past, while we have many good coaches right here in Ghana looking for a job and no one would hire them because they are Black. I used to insult Nyantakyi everyday for this foolishness but no more, he is a man who LISTENS and that is very good. Now my attack is on Mahama but he has started doing something about corruption so I would hold my ammunition and see how it goes.

Rasheed, I'm far away from Ghana but I saw this coming. I new we were going to massacre them and I knew it was a different 5 goals game in Ghana's favor. All the folks I spoke with can testify. It's not juju. It's a pure tactical game mastered by Appiah and his men.
Before the game we knew all the weaknesses of Egypt. The idea was to put the ball behind their defenders and outrun them, especially if it had to do with Gomaa. They knowing their weakness wanted to cut us on the breaks but Ghana's well rehearsed game plan worked by holding on to the ball and opening up the Egyptian defends.

i said you were described in 1983 by kwabena yeboah as cool, confident & collected after kotoko beat as belima 2:0. i think it is in that match that you earn the name mayele. i also remember that the first time you played in a very compettitive match for kotoko was when you dislodged karimu zito in the return match against al haly in kumasi in 1982. in that match the father of the egyptian goal keeper was in the post.
but coach i don't think this auto matic introduction of agyemang badu is necessary. he comes on won't get his passes right, he wont pass, and i don't think he can fit in as a super sub. if others are playing his role better than him such that he cannot pinned down a first team place so be it. bu always giving him some playing time for the sake of it i think is unnecessary. yesterday as dede, djan and warris drastically toned down their selfish play because essien was on the field, badu came on still playing selfishly.
lastly let nkoom, muntari, badu, wakaso and akaminko improve on their passing game.

Coach, these Arabs LOVE revenge and putting fear in people. They are most likely to hire a referee who will show Ghanaians many cards. So I think we need to to do two things: (1) Rest some key players, PARTICULARLY Michael Essien and (2) We need to hold on to the ball and maintain possession in the game. That way we will commit less fouls and concede fewer cards. So Rabiu should start in place of Michael Essien.

A guy is suffering from severe headaches for years with no relief. After trying all the usual cures he's referred to a headache specialist by his family doctor. The doctor asks him what his symptoms are and he replies, "I get these blinding headaches; kind of like a knife across my scalp and..".
He is interrupted by the doctor, "And a heavy throbbing right behind the left ear".
"Yes! Exactly! How did you know?"
"Well I am the world's greatest headache specialist, you know. But I myself suffered from that same type of headache for many years. It is caused by a tension in the scalp muscles. This is how I cured it: Every day I would give my wife oral sex. When she came she would squeeze her legs together with all her strength and the pressure would relieve the tension in my head. Try that every day for two weeks and come back and let me know how it goes".
Two weeks go by and the man is back, "Well, how do you feel?" the doctor asked.
"Doc, I'm a new man! I feel great! I haven't had a headache since I started this treatment! I can't thank you enough. And, by the way you have a lovely home."
GHANA MADE THEM GO TO BED WITH ITCHY ASS AND WAKE UP WITH SMELLY FINGERS,BUT THEIR HEADACHES FROM GHANA IS PAINFUL LIKE SCALP.

If we had listened to him and kept him in power, the World Cup would have been ours by now. It reminds me of when he appointed C.K. Gyamfi to coach the Black Stars.....the rest is history.
Sellas Tetteh won the under 20 World Cup too. So, we still can't get what Nkrumah meant, then I am afraid we will achieve nothing in our lives.
But complacency should not creep in here! It's not over yet!

The last two tournaments we were in tough groups and qualified easily, and which ever group Ghana happens to draw if they qualify for the world cup will know the Black stars are a quality team, but quite suspect in the back...tighten up the defense and the sky is the limit

Kudos to AA and his boys. Six goals to one! Just incredible and I tip my heart for the players, AA and his management team, and the supporters you made it to the stadium.
However, there are certain things that happened that on a bad day could have cost the team so much.
1. Keeper
He still not there for his aerial balls, his timing very poor. I am saying this because Adams came out on two occasions that he either missed the ball all his fisting was not right. If you make this kind of mistakes against any of the South America or European teams the story will not be the same. More so, those mistakes were committed when Ghana was just up by two goals. Supposing BS had been punished by these two errors, the results would not have been the same.
2. Right Back
I think Inkooms performance on the day was fair because he still needs to work on his recovery.
3. Opare was good on the day. If he keeps that kind of performance I do not see why AA does not maintain him on that position. He however needs to better than good in order to compete with the best of the world.
4. The central pair was also good judging from the fact that these two have not played together before and to put up such performance was okay.
5. The two midfielders in front of the back four. There were also good on the day. They were my men of the match on the day. They actually kill the match for the BS. Muntari in some few occasions appeared to be not aware of his opponents behind him and lost some balls through that and which was not good for the team. This has also been happening to him at AC and needs to be able to work on his concentration for the full 90 minutes. Essien on the other hand appeared to be holding on the ball more than necessary. Example was when he appeared to have overdone his run and could have played the ball earlier after dribbling the first defender to Waris.
6. The central midfield was okay but need to be better than good.
7. The striking pair of Waris and Asamoah looks okay for now but what AA needs to do now is to have the second pair in the case of the twos absent.
8. Tactically: I think AA was okay on the day. What I did not understand was why he did not substitute Somaila after the second half. Although he Akaminko was to go in for the tackles and Somaila was to deal with the loose balls, in such a much anything could have happened. I was sure any mistake by him could have caused the BS to ten men and this could have caused the team and I am not sure we could have recorded the 6-1 score line.
Once again good job but it not over, until is over.

My predictions never fail. Like I said just after the 2013 AFCON, Kwasi Appiah, Asamoah Gyan, Olele and Paintsil will stage a come back. My prediction will soon be complete when Paintsil comes back.
Like I said just after the 2013 AFCON, Asamoah Gyan is like Mercedes Benz, the more he's put down, the more he shows up in a different form. Even the Egyptian coach is well aware of this.
WE MUST AIM N PREPARE TO SCORE EVEN MORE GOALS IN THE AWAY GAME. PLAY PROFESSIONAL DEFENDING. SLIGHT NUDGES, SLIGHT BODY BUMPS INSIDE THE 18YARD BOX....SUMAILA NEEDS PROFESSIONAL HELP.
Coming out of your rat hole you have the nerve to tell Mr. AA what to do, did you take the time to read the article before your comments. Learn to be appreciative.
