Why the small-minded focus on how people choose to display their ostentatious wealth? If a person's pay grade allows them to splurge on materialisic toys, or if they immerse themselves in the cesspool of usury loans to acquire those things they show off, what concern is it to the the leader of a military junta that had agents like Jack Bilbo loting gold bullion?

I advise that he grow up and stop acting the giddy goat, who gets his rocks off by castigating others. Perhaps he should remove the log from his eyes before mentioning the splinter in that of others.

An aged and grizzled man without the benefit of wisdom is but a grown child bereft of good sense to know when to speak and when to hold the tongue.

It takes millions of dollars, say $10-20 million, to run a viable honest winnable campaign in Ghana and another $10-20 million to wine and dine people in order to talk to them as the tradition has been set by the NDC and then NPP.
In fact most of the moneys that are siphoned through judgment debts and vanishing projects funds go into political campaigns. It is not worth it.

So what is wrong if he is saying the same thing about Mahama, when we already know about GYEEDA, SADA, etc... I think it is better to say that in public than calling him or visiting him to advise him in private. Mahama is weak and has surrounded himself with "yes men." There is no way he would do anything and that is why Rawlings has chosen to speak out. He used his charisma to con some misdirected young men in the military, in order to seize the helm of power and thoroughly loot the coofers of our treasury and markets, for their own personal gain.

The same old tired envy of what others own and display is still a part of his deceptive repertoire of familiar and persuasively inciting rhetoric... it works on dumb asses who think the way to attain the wealth they see others revel in, is to take from the wealthy.

He is not content to savor his own wealth and the fleet of bullet-proof vehicles he drives, but diverts attention to what and how others enjoy the trappings of high office.

He remains infantile in the petty jealousies he displays and his stunted mental development is readily apparent. His sycophantic fans are not much better, by indulging in the soothing balm of entrenched envy and the dismal craving for all that others own.

Nobody is enumerating all that he owns and openly displays, so he should be not concerned about anybody's either.

E.A. AGBODO, MR. KWAME PEPRAH AND NANA KONADU AGYEMANG-RAWLINGS ACTED TOGETHER TO FRAUDULENTLY CAUSE THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA TO MAKE SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL LOSS. However, he is now an "elder" in the ruling party and wants the leader to surround himself with honest people, so why should we condemn him.

I think it is better we encourage him to boom more; Ghana benefits more from his boom. Currently, it seems we don't have any opposition party in the country. I have never seen a useless opposition in my life as the current one. So should we leave Mahama to continue with the mess going on or should we encourage people like Rawlings to keep the feet of Mahama and his gangs in the fire?

Learn from other past leaders and earn some respect. The most important thing to note here is that you're not the "moral yardstick" by which every Ghanaian must be measured. You have lots of flaws; don't attempt to portray yourself as a saint or "Mr. Perfect" to Ghanaians. People get angry when you make such porous utterances when they know things you did in the secret. Better watch out! Lot's of Ghanaians still remember what you sent them and their families through during (1979-2000) your reign as leader of Ghana. And these days, lots of people are wise---some may hail your speeches though---and will get angry when you won't learn to be quiet. I hope you'd listen a little bit. Hmmm!

It is tough to run a lion’s den with the Bible these days as Jonah did. Anybody who is not considered “wicked” as we used to call it when we were kids, will find it hard to run Ghana.
If you appear too nice, thieves will run circles around you collecting judgment debt payments and running away with funds meant for projects. And the blame is on you the President.

People in and out of the NDC who knows who he was from the very beginning are now targets of his attacks.
All his vituperations are indirectly targetting the Ahwoi brothers. Just imagine the way and manner these brothers collectively assisted Rawlings right from the onset of his so called revolution to the end of his presidency. And yet, this ungrateful man called Rawlings is scheming for their blood.
He calls them by all sorts of names. First, greedy bastards, and now crookish monsters. I wonder if Rawlings really understands the word bastard. Indeed, Rawlings is the very epitome of a real bastard if he cares to know.
President Mahama should watch Rawlings with Eagle eyes, and should never trust him a second. If the oppotunity present itself, Rawlings would treat mahama worst than he treated the late Prof. Mills.
