The President needs people like you who have been on the ground to tell him the truth. Please stop pretending to him that GYEEDA is not a problem. It is, and how he deals with it will either turn him into a true national leader, or smear his legacy with corruption

Where from this specious and obtuse logic? We should stop talking about the government's thievery and concentrate on building Ghana??? With what resources and money if his government is continuously pillaging the economy? If he does not have any thing sensible to say, he better go and plane some wawa boards. If they won't give us development, they should not bring us embarrassment. If we can't have the "Better Ghana" they promised us, they should just give us our normal Ghana, and not make it a bitter Ghana. Under their watch, I have seen a number of professionals who had earlier relocated to Ghana actually going back to hassle!!! What is he talking about?

Adu Asare clearly does not understand the direct relationship between nation-building and corruption, and it's apparent that, such a mindset can only come from the NDC stock. When Adu Asare talks of nation-building, what does he specifically mean by nation-building? It is a known fact that, corruption alone, is arguably one of the foremost factors militating against any attempts at nation-building, much at par with incompetence, ineptness, lack of visionary leadership, which can be described at best as intellectual laziness, bureaucracy, nepotism, patronage and a very huge dose of unmitigated sycophancy, which if all are found in a crucible at the same time, creates a rather potent lethal mix or concoction of unending, legendary and stupendous retrogression of nation-building. It is therefore not surprising that, within the past 4 to 5 years, Ghana has been saddled with numerous challenges upon challenges, which have all culminated in the kind of rot we are all experiencing from this gov't depicting all the classical manifestations of that potent and lethal concoction described above. It's again quite interesting that, Adu Asare happened to find himself in parliament on the ticket of the NDC, because, a character with such a mindset can never be in mainstream politics, to right the wrongs of society, militating against the progressive advancement of the nation state on all fronts, in other more serious, focused and advanced jurisdictions, which mean business. Just to cite just but one example. The gov't has gone ahead to establish the UHAS in the Volta region and he should go and read what Prof. Binka is requesting to be done to get the university to take off and become functional and come back and address well meaning and right thinking Ghanaians, about how corruption fuelled and corruption filled activities such as GYEEDA cannot impact on nation-building. Indeed, governance has gone to the dogs.

You cannot put the corpse in front of you and mourn everyday. You deal with it by first burying it so the problem can only go away if the President deals with the Gyeeda report in the manner acceptable to Ghanaians.
