The call for reforms is what we all want including the president, anybody who does not agree with the former president as against most of NDC members can go to hell.

Just read the speech of the former president and also go to the Social Media if you have access to one apart from Ghanaweb to see the response from the civilized NDC supporters.
His speech was even in support of President Mahamah but this Bature guy will like it to look different.

You guys should not fool yourselves thinking that Rawlings' time is over, he is more relevant in NDC and the country than any politician in the country unless you are out of touch not knowing the realities in the country.

The livestock dealer said, "Why don't you put the anvil in the bucket, carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose in your other hand?"

"Hey, thanks!" the farmer said, and off he went. While walking home he met a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, "Can you tell me how to get to 1515 Mockingbird Lane?"

Some of us know Jerry Rawlings can act and survive only with the backing of those he can hoodwink. Presently, Jerry Rawlings has reached the limit of those he can influence to back his political throne. The likes of Kojo Tsikata, Kofi Awoonor, P. V. Obeng, Kwasi Botchwey, the Ahwoi brothers,et al are no longer at the call and bidding of Jerry Rawlings. Nana Konadu has reached the elastic limit of her relations with NDC.

Which way is Rawlings turning to at this political moment. Jerry Rawlings is alone. It is clear significant members of NDC are suffering from Rawlings and Nana Konadu fatigue.

Jerry Rawlings would find his glorious days by joining his former Ghana Air Force buddies to shoot the breeze at Potomac, Maryland (USA).

This man must know that he cannot continue to have the same influence in Ghana's politics forever. He should learn lessons from how former presidents of the US take back seats and offer advice quietly in the background without courting unnecessary attention to themselves.

They did it to Afro Gbede in 1979 when he tried to lure them to support Victor Owusu and the PFP in the run off with Limman. They proved to Gbedemah they vote on principles and not on the basis of personalities. JJ and wife are greedy bastards.

Rawlings has proved time and again that he is never happy or satisfied. Something is missing in his life. Nothing or nobody pleases him. He has no respect for anybody. Look at how he ridiculed a gentleman like the late President JEA Mills up to his death. The only persons who know it all and are able to please him are himself and probably his wife and children. This type of character is a mental defect.
Why would a person in his tribute to a late President Mills write to request the dead man to deal with all the evil people in the NDC party? - of course he is not an evil person; others are. Why would a person shower praises on a dead Awoonor whom he had referred to as one of "the greedy bastards" when he was alive? This is a mental case.
In simple terms Rawlings needs help; help that sycophants cannot give. He needs people like this writer of Al-hajj newspaper or Asiedu Nketiah to tell him the bare truth whenever he is out of order. Anytime he shows signs to ridicule President Mahama, all the "babies with sharp teeth" must bite him very hard. Had Ghanaians not have much confidence in President Mahama, what Rawlings and his wife did to him before the 2012 election would have made him lose - Mahama won because the electorates rubbished all the negatives that Rawlings did. Rawlings should be made to know that no one is in need of his bombastic ideas. Simply, his time is past.
It would be absolutely nonsensical for NDC to stand aloof to allow Rawlings to unleash his venom upon President Mahama the same way he did to the late Mills with impunity.
