Nkrumah started gagging the OPPOSITION and any word out of place meant a straight journey to NSAWAM. GHANA was not NKRUMAH'S property - we all should have a say without the fear of being thrown into jail.
He bought the armed forces and rendered the rest ineffective by sending to China a select group for training. These became the PRESIDENTIAL GUARD (an army within an army!!!) In short, he became POWER DRUNK, he HIJACKED POWER and the only war for GHANAIANS to have that FREDOM & JUSTICE was to OVERTHROW him!!!

Corporate GHANA, its partners and its employees (so to speak) with shares must also not sit down to be mismanaged by its bosses and all we are interested in is to sit down and do tribal gutter politics - whilst we receive less than 3% of our gold sales the like of Anglo Gold Ashanti takes the major share of the profits.

- whilst our national asset is sold to a UK mobile company like Vodafone, on the cheap.

- whilst we receive 11% of our own oil sale.

- whilst our bauxite, cocoa, timber, diamond and many more others are being siphoned out of our country on the cheap.

2. Governor Guggisburg built Korle Gorno in the early 30s as part of the resettlement plant for those affected by the sitting of Korle Bu. Go to Gorle Gorno today there are portions of the roads in the township which has no potholes. In 2010 a roads were build in certain parts in Accra (with a huge budget) and after 9 months the roads became unmotorable.

We have the largest man made lake in the world. we should be commanding the largest fresh fish industry in at least Africa by now, but all the lake does is to bread Onchocerciasis (river blindness).

I have more than 100 simple practical examples of things that this beautiful nation can do to move forward.

As a nation we have not managed to free ourselves from the debacle of colonization. Our educational structure has woefully failed us. The child who has the ability to memorize is seen as the smarter one and the one gifted with his hands and creativeness is discarded. We mark success as being able to acquire a job where you put on a tie and drive a nice care.
We do not cherish hard work yet want beautiful things. A political figure who fails to put up mansions during his tenure in office is seen as a failure his counterpart who did irrespective of how he made it is seen as the hero. The rich is accorded so much respect in our churches because they give more offering and we do not even ask ourselves how the person managed to get that rich.
As a nation we need to look ourselves in the mirror and ask ourselves how come a fowl is able to secure three square meals while the average Ghanaian is unable to do that.
Our institutions must be allowed to work and monitored correctly. We do not want change and will oppose anyone who tries to bring about a good change all because of the bribery and corruption. One significant difference between the Asian and the Ghanaian is that whereas they are very receptive to learning new things from their brothers and sisters with new skills from the western world we oppose them calling them arrogant. I wish one day Prof. Frimpong Boateng will tell Ghanaians what he had to endure in the hands of his fellow country men before with perseverance he became successful
