Ghanaians should rather encourage and hail Kingson for his brave efforts in getting a place back in the Black stars. This is a man who has served his country with all loyalty and commitment and this is too crucial a time to criticize or chastize him. He is still the best in the camp, so Peacefm presenters should leave him alone.

Yes, we need to encourage him but in the capacity of a kind of goalkeeper coach. He does not need to necessarily be in the coast.

I did not see the need to call Kingson, but if once he had been called, it is NOT necessary for the GFA to talk about what he can't or won't do. That is a sole prerogative of the coach. Leave that to Kwasi Appiah, and not the GFA.
Like I said previously, Kingson is not good on penalty kicks. He keeps on diving to the RIGHT on every penalty and that is stupid. Some years ago, some coaches came out with that style/plan for keeps to be diving on one side with the hope that they may be able to stop one kick but it had been found out that it is a useless exercise, yet Kingson keeps on doing that. Had he even stood still in the posts, he would have been able to stop some of the penalty kicks during the world cup.
Let them keep on training the young lads and use them. Our defense is weak and not many strikers and that is what we should be talking about.
The Minister and GFA should take their hands off the stars and leave Kwasi Appiah to decide.

Do not wait to lose the Kumasi leg from porous defense then you will panic to call in John Mensah. EGYPT IS FOR REAL...THEY ARE NOT A WALK OVER...GHANA HAS TO BE EXTRA GOOD TO BEAT THEM...HOME COURT DOES NOT MATTER.
Call him now. It does not cost GFA any more money as camping is in Accra and John Mensah has a house in Accra.......DO NOT DEPEND TOO MUCH ON FOLLOWING THE WHITEMAN LEAD

Kingston has a problem in dealing with free kicks and corners due to his height. He could not handle Forlan's free kick in our match with Uruguay. He showed similar weaknesses which resulted in his exit from Wigan.

Kingson "Olele" has bad judgement or probably bad eye-sight! As I've been saying right here on the website, football has reached a certain scientific level where countries like South Korea, Japan and other nations who don't have great stars compared to Africa are beginning to play good football because of their scientific research and application of technics and tactics etc. into the game.
In these modern times, every nation make pre-game analysis and also spies on their next opponent before every crucial match esp. in the WC tournaments etc. I'm very sure our next opponents have watched our previous games involving certain players and how they play. Coach Appiah himself may be doing his own thing and must know that calling certain players simply helps his next opponents how to strategize to meet his squad.
I hope I'm not spewing garbage here but rather my simply advice would help the honourable coach to be vigilant and plan well for the Egyptians. There shouldn't be any complacency in our match against the Pharaohs.

I thought Coach Kwasi Appiah was the man solely making decisions in player selection; Goal-keeper Kingson's inclusion suggests that he's probably been influenced by some "powers that be" in his player selection. "Olele" is completely a dead horse; he doesn't deserve to make the numbers in the Black Stars squad. His inclusion will become a liability to the team as he's proven in important matches during the WC-2010 in South Africa.
Ghana has quality players; our problem is the Goal-keeper spot. It's time Coach Kwasi Appiah and his men sought to discover or train good and competent men for that all-important spot in our team. We cannot continue to make the same mistakes over and over again!

There is nothing wrong for talkers to talk.Critics are critics and that is part of the game.Age seems to be a crime in Ghana as if only one fellow is born to grow old or born to die.I remember a friend who used to make fun of somebody who gets a stroke or any sickness because he always said a pastor had assured him no sickness can strike him but lo and behold he is now in his 50s and is bed ridden with stroke. It is unfortunate but the take home message hear is that we should not make a big fuss about age but what we should all demand is performance and results from everybody irrespective of age and they should all be encouraged.Check the records to see at what should was the legendry Sepp Maer in goal for Germany and when what age did the great Beckenbauer play his last game for Germany etc.We need to reorient our thinking about how we view old age.Blending the old with the new is always great because expie is very priceless.

Who are this people coming out with all this nonsense about Kingston, what do u know about football, This goalkeeper is a die hard one , forget his absence for two years he is still to me the best goalkeeper Ghana have had since the likes of Robert Mensah, Carr, Lamptey Duru, Naawu and co. He Kingston if selected for the game against Egypt ll be good enough for the Stars to triumphant. He is very very atheletic, strong, energetic and mobile. In fact he was the star of both world cups in Germany and in South Africa and has a lot of experience to match Egypt so I don't know what all this fuss is all about. You have so many people from the Ghana football Association who wants to attract attention and coming out with so many negative views about who and who should be this and should be that it's about time you all leave Akwesi Appia alone to make his decision. No one is saying Fatau and kwaarese are not good but big games required big names with the necessary experience to win a very important game.
