For instance to get an electricity meter, you have to pay aroung GHC 1,000. AMA workers who write "Stop Work" on your building will ask for abt GHC2,000. Where is Ghana heading to? I remember Paa Ndoum was insisting on declaration of assets of all politicians before taking office. This was brushed aside by the Govt. A lot of bad things going on in Ghana. Let this demonstrations go on!

The steep inclination of our elites to engage in Corruption is the reason why our MPs and other Government Officials have failed to declare their assets prior to taking up Office, contrary to the Constitution.

Paa Nduom must take up the challenge and lead the fight to engulf all our political leaders. Our Political leaders hardly mention corruption as a canker impeding our development. Their publicly antagonistic stances against one another is all about who takes home the larger booty, not why others are stealing from the State.

They collaborate to shield one another unless a deeper wound inflicted on one by another is driving the victim to seek revenge on that particular individual. The case of Government Lands and Real Estate properties being shared among our leaders has suddenly fizzled out from the Media and Public critique. Why? I suspect it is because both sides of the Political divide are heavily smeared by the scandal. Even the Chief Justice is said to have taken her share of the land. Hence, who dares prosecute who?

Our Oil Money, Loans that no one knows what they are financing and other sources of Money, like from orchestrated Judgment Debt payments, are all huge, corrupt drain on our Economy that our Politicians barely want to act upon to save us.

So, let Dr. Nduom address the issue raised to clear his name. Then can we follow him to fight the others to shed Corruption in the Nation.

That year when Govt off loaded itself from Ashanti Goldfields to AngloGold and sold its shares, civil servants and teachers were encouraged to purchase share [they hardly knew what they were doing] through Nduom's Gold Coast Securities company. The company took these monies through instalment payments from salaries for over many months. The company still exists - it's located near Immigration Services headquarters. Some of these people have died, others gone elsewhere, others, if still Ghana, don't even know they have anything. Nduom soon became a politician. Is it from these monies? Is there a social responsibility on a company such as that to come out and say, hey we have your money for 20years? Nduom can't be an anti-corruption campaigner!
