    85% of the revenue goes to the mining companies, leaving us with a paltry 15%.

    This is naked rape. The same happens in the mining sector. We have effectively signed away our natural wealth.

    Something is not right here. 74M barrels in 2013 is equivalent to 8.2 M barrels per month of 9 months (Jan-Sept). This will equate to 274,000 barrels per day. This is more than twice (110,000) what the Deputy Minister is ...

    The minister said the country had produced over 74 million barrels of crude oil from the Jubilee Fields as at August 2013. He did not specify the period over which the oil was produced.
