This corrupt practice is much widespread in the Armed Forces. From uniforms to equipment like radios, commanders purchase substandard items, get their cut, and form Acceptance Boards that just endorse their actions. I know this because I was a serving officer in the army,before retiring some years ago. I think our journalists and civil society need to focus on issues of corruption and accountability in our Armed Forces.

Board of Inquiries are set up, but nothing is ever done about their findings.

This is because the government officials are themselves involved in stealing the monies.

Don't waste the peoples time and money, if you, the government officials involved won't act on the inquiries.

How many inquiries have we not had undertaken in Ghana? How many have been acted upon?

Let those involved pay for the items.

We are getting nowhere. We will never progress, in the Government Officials will continue to steal and dupe the country in such manner.
The Government Officials must prove they are not involved, by acting on the findings of the various Inquiries.
