  How do you create wealth when there is so much poverty? What kind of wealth creation doe he mean? Steal from the people? Or produce things? All this bullcrap mantra really makes these people feel good. Africa's problem is its resources do not benefit its people. Too many parasites in the the system who call themselves leaders but in actuality facilitate the theft of African resources. A country such as Nigeria has billioniares and a lot of wealthy people but the country is so poor. That means this man is talking nonsense. He picked up this idea from some republican talk show in America and feels he has to come and show off that he knows something. Africa needs common sense leadership. Leaders should serve the people not themselves.

  Good one. As you have already mentioned my words, there is no need for me to add more points to it. I think the word democracy needs to be explain to the mass to understand what it is. Unfortunately, most of Ghanaians think that, democracy is just to go and vote and that is the end of it. But democracy can hold its positive affection, if the 4 powers function independantly and without any barrier of its present government. Equall chances to education, job creation and job application is the key. The most needed character is patriotism and sense of nationalism. If we all believe that the country belongs to us and we need to protect it for us and our coming generation. That will be the end of poverty. We need intellectuals in the country and the government have to work with them.
  
  A change of mindset must have a necessity. Our problem is the criminals as MPs and Ministers including the President.
  
  A help from UN in this issue will cement our dependency to the aliens and will contra wealth creation because it is not design, finance and implement by us.
  
  Positive image inside and outside Ghana should be manage by Ghanaians.

  That is exactly where our colonialist education has kept us and none of our so-called educationists don't realize?
  
  What is required is a COMMON SENSE approach to OUR education system that reflects who we really are - OUR HERITAGE, DIVERSE CULTURES and GOOD TRADITIONS. We cannot ape our lives on other people's lifestyles and hope we can be like them. NEVER!!!!!

  We have trapped our naive minds into believing that democracy in itself would solve our problems and lead to development...HELL NO!
  
  COMMON SENSE should tell us, that with a quick look back at our history of our so-called young democracy, we have become more divided with ideologies to please our slave masters. Everything thrown at us from the West in the name of democracy is deemed us helping us to grow as a democracy........even when it requires us to sign up to HIPC, we do so in the name of democracy.
  
  The party politics of two major parties in African countries jostling for position every four years is not the answer either! They are all made up of stooges, placed there to please their slave masters.
  
  AFRICANS!!!!! The only way forward is to emancipate ourselves from MENTAL SLAVERY as we did with physical slavery. Yes! It was not abolished by a few slave masters but several Africans who stood up to such despicable acts of evil..............
  Once again, historical facts have been distorted to make millions of Africans to believe otherwise................
  
  That is why the call to a COMMON SENSE approach to overhaul our so-called education systems in AFRICA......as the only way forward to OUR DEVELOPMENT!

  Obviously if the natural resources were simply lying on the streets, like gold bars and diamond trinkets, there would be no poverty. The natural resources are practically INVISIBLE, buried deep down or several miles beneath the ocean and HARD TO DETECT and extremely difficult to ACCESS and RETRIEVE.
  
  So the question we should ask is: what would it take for Africans to LOCATE their natural resources, DRILL THEM OUT, and REFINE them, all by themselves?
  
  Yes, it takes Science and Technology through and through, and unless Africa invests heavily in those two disciplines, we would forever be at the mercy of those advanced nations.
  
  The refining part is even more crucial. Take the case of crude oil: almost 70 percent of the materials surrounding us in our day-to-day lives, from pacemakers to diapers, are petroleum products.
  If you take the automobile alone, it is not just the gasoline that is required; the tires, upholstery, dashboard components, bulbs, steering, lubricant oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, power-steering fluid, battery casing, wire insulation, and anything plastic, all are derived ultimately from crude oil.
  
  Countries with natural resources need SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY big time!

  Tekonline or whatever you call yourself, I remember having similar exchanges with you......and two or more years down the line you are still talking about theory, theory, theory! And talk, talk, talk.......from your ivory tower. Get down here and put your talk to test!

  What is KNUST there for? There are people who have managed to LOCATE, DUG THEM OUT and REFINED them in their own local approach...........It is up to you lot to team up with such locals to build upon the technology with the so-called knowledge you lot acquired at KNUST...Don't you think so?
  
  Every nation on earth acquires and builds on its science and technology by putting themselves to the test! At least the local 'galamseys' have managed that before your slave masters arrived........did you know that? So, it's up to you and your lot to invent the technology to help.
  
  The pyramids in Egypt were built with bare hands and basic technology - heavy tons of rocks were carved out of mountains, carried them up to heights that are unimaginable and structurally put in place at different levels, to stand the test of time.
  
  It was built by AFRICANS.......and even until this day, Western technology is finding it hard to understand or even construct with the basic technology applied by the Egyptians - made up of an army of AFRICANS!!!
  
  So, Mr. Tekonline, in life....you need to crawl before you walk..........you have to start from somewhere to get somewhere.
  
  We have labour in abundance and if we put our efforts together (with the help of KNUST) we will get somewhere and be able achieve everything we put our minds too. Yes! Even under the sea to drill OUR OWN oil and go ahead to build refineries too!!!!
  
  So, please stop sounding like a typical educated illiterate, who sees nothing good in his people and bring practical solutions to the table....
  and NOT BY YOUR USUAL PESSIMISM.

  I, sitting here in the US, with just a high school education can teach Africans living in the US how to gain a $10,000 a week income inside a 6 month window with no loans, donated money,fundraised or crowdfunding capital risen or needed...no problem. BUT Africans outside of Africa are so closed-minded, discriminatory towards outsiders and inward thinking...they will NEVER listen to me and make a sane attempt. African people, as the cliche' goes, 'are there own worst enemy'. Too busy calling me, "akata", instead of having a democratic, global mindset.
  So many minds are still colonized in their thinking processes and full of envy and jealousy. Black people worldwide are still such.
