There are procedures to mostly everything about this sport and the area of inviting players for national assignment is one of them. The players have their individual clubs that are still holding on to them. Without a fifa scheduled release date, the clubs' coaches wouldn't let go these players whether the players have been invited on not.

What is the hurry, by the way? Why are some of us comparing Egypt to us? We are different in many ways. Therefore, for the fact that they have called their players, doesn't mean we should call ours. In connection to that, most of the players are playing in their local teams and so could afford to camp them earlier. Their outside players may be called, however, there would be no use because they will not be released by their clubs until the Fifa scheduled break.

Our team has pretty much, and I mean, obvious players we all should know are definitely going to be invited.

Here is my selection below, bring your selection, some else should brings his or hers. After that let us put these three selections together and pick the best 23 players from them. I could bet you that 90% of the best we will select, would be the players Kwasi Appiah and his tech team will also pick.

If you want to try this hypothesis, all we need are 3 fans who really follow the Black Stars and know the spot. Their selection wouldn't be far from ours.

Kwarasey as it stands now cannot match Fatau when it comes to African soccer.With scarce resources in Ghana Fatau proved to be ready for the task in South Africa AFCON and friendly matches prior to that. How many matches have we lost with him in the post?
Kwarasey with all the resources still lacks confidence and is very very bad with air balls; we all saw it in AFCON 2012 not in one match but many.
Since we don't have a good coach who could improve players’ performance but only relies on luck, there is no way Kwarasey could surpass Fatau with air balls.
Doubters should go back and watch Ghana vs Egypt friendly before the AFCON 2013 in South Africa to know who the golie Fatau is and stop that Kwarasey and Kingstopn stuff. Kingston is old and weak. If Appiah as a coach cannot help sharpen the skills of the already pair of hands we have, he should step down and let Sellas take over. I even believe if Maxwell Konadu is given the nod as the coach and not assistant he will be better than Appiah.
