Revisiting the manifestos of past governments since Dr. Nkrumah will be a good start. It's still not too late.

The president has already denouced the old system of the winner takes all when he presented an article on this contrvercial issue which has become a bone of contention in the electoral system in most of the so called democratic world.Believe me or not, money is the prime factor in this matter, since all these contesting political parties have spent huge sums of money with the hope of winning to retrieve what they have put into this game of chance which have failed them, they become desperate with creditors threatening court actions against them deepening their plights and the altimate action for some of them is to auction family property to offset their debts. To this end, it will be highly welcome to enact a law by parliament to legalise parties to certain degree to share ministerial and executive positions to run the country with the winner party to bring peace and tranquility in our dear motherland.

This hypocrite Rev. Prof Asante must have lived in lala land a tad too long. For starters this Rev. Asante is not a principled man with honor and integrity. Would this Rev Asante troop his congregants to thank a citizen in Ghana who had denounced Christ and latter finds Christ? To troop people to Nana Akufo-Addo's house in Nima to honor him for accepting a defeat he suffered at the polling booth which he and his NPP should have accepted from the get go is a sign of a man cloaking himself with religion while engaged in the tribal biting warfare that has engulfed Ghana.
Where in the USA is winner take all not practiced? Newly elected presidents appoint mostly party faithful and loyalists to top government posts. This is not new. But if Rev Prof. Asante wants to pretend that appointing some two appointees from a losing party in new appointments out of 500 amounts to a shared government then I wonder why in his own biased wisdom he did not troop to the President's residence to thank him for being cool as the clowns in the NPP wasted 8month of Ghana's time fighting over much to do about nothing pink sheets?

NPC should stay put of politics or from their own political party and respect the constitution.

For a country such as ours, we need a national development plan which cuts across the political divide, and to which all parties will commit to drive our development. I still find it hard to understand why politicians are not making such efforts. The Peace Council is right, and we must heed their call.

It will not work in Ghana. Those in gov't will not agree, they want to 'chop' while they are there and they feel it is their right. They are too corrupt.

In fact, that would be a good move to get this country move forward. Politicians are too corrupt and wasting all our money to send their families abroad.
