I think we are mature enough to stop this can of economics of politics and focus on economics of nationalism. We are all Ghanaian what is the way forward to build our nation instead of politicising our economy for political gimmick. Let us be faire when analysing our economy. Yes we are on course but there is more need to be done as a country. God is the master of economy not human.

The Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration is sending us back to the days of the structural adjustment program, the enhanced structural adjustment programs, pasmcad, etc, etc, of the 80's and 90's, which eventually culminated in Ghana going HIPC, by early 2000, when the NPP gov't took over the reins of gov't. Amissah-Arthur, the current vice president and head of the economic management team was in the thick of things during the era of these Bretton woods instituted policies and programs which led Ghana into HIPC. Is it therefore any wonder that, with escalating debt stock, there's nothing to show for it? Incompetence led us into HIPC in 2000 and incompetence and a markedly high level of ineptitude is gradually sending us back into HIPC. The Mahama-Amissah Arthur team is clearly clueless and manifestly unfit for governance and that is the hard barefaced facts.

Strangely, the NDC say: "Oh, everything is just fine." They started giving such false impressions about the state of the economy in 2008, when late Atta-Mills was elected as president. They've stolen the ballot to stay in power. When things continue to fall apart for Ghanaians and when things can't point to the right direction for Ghanaians the NDC will use lies and vile propaganda to confuse unsuspecting and innocent citizens of "Sikaman" Ghana. May Lord have mercy on us.

The government has to consider attacking Ghana's variant problems from the scratch. First they must consider using what I will call Integrated Approach to Governance. This means that we have to put in place a national databank, linked all ministries, departments etc together in a chain and begin to resolve our myriads of problems one after the other. Whilst doing these we must put in place measures to reduce our demand for imports and encourage production locally meant for exports.Train our own people very well to man our industries. Those who go contrarily to lay down rules must be punished without any favour from any quarters. The law must work.
