Somebody is speaking sense. if we continue to keep the non performing parties, they will complete our enslavement. NPP and NDC have no ideas, no knowledge and they don't care. Please vote CPP no matter what.

Anane I can sympathize with your frustrations but lets be real here.
Can you in your wildest dreams identify any one in the current leadership of the CPP who you can stick out your neck for as being genetically 'qualified' in the CPP mold to be a head of state or even a Minister of State of Ghana? Who in the CPP of today would you recommend for ministerial positions?
Even if a tsunami were to happen in Ghana and sweep away all the trash in the NDC and the NPP, I still wouldnt recommend the CPP to assume power. This is because with the kind of inept two-timing opportunists holding the bastion of the party hierarchy, they would only end up performing much much worse than the NDC and NPP.
In the process, they would only end up disgracing not only the Party and the country but the indomitable image of the greatest African ever - the immortal and invincible Osagyefo Kantamanto Oseei adieyie Dr Kwame Nkrumah the messiah of African liberation.

Before Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah left the Shores of the then Gold Coast to Study and came back at the invitation of the UGCC,to propel the Country to Independence, this type of Clothing was/is the people choice and the tradition to this day.Avery Club/Society,Churches,etc etc and later political parties have it.
It's just like a party card.Every member has it.
What is wrong with that?.

Much as Samia Nkrumahs call appears to be well-meaning, it is very clearly out of sync with the more important need to completely overhaul the vile neo-colonial system in which we, as a country, find ourselves. This language is no different than what Kufuor, Mills, Akuffo-Addo have been parroting all these years.
Sometimes I really wonder if African politicians talk this economic gibberish only to impress or whether they themselves really understand and mean what they say.
Does Samia expect the two antagonistic twins, the NPP and the NDC oligarchy to listen to and understand what she has been quoted here as saying? Does she seriously expect them to overhaul a patently corrupt system which they have employed to so thoroughly enrich themselves to millionaire status in an under-developed economy?
What the CPP needs to do is to disregard all these prescriptions of the imperialist paradigm and focus on alternative options that can deliver real and meaningful development.
Any social or political system or prescription, that does not show sufficiently good results in 5 or 10 years - much more in the over 50 years of our independence is surely inappropriate, if not totally bankrupt and counter-productive.
The CPP must move away from the shallow, futile master-and-slave-like assumptions of the western democratic global hegemony and head back to the principles of Nkrumaism where it rightly belongs.
Any other posture, I am afraid, is like pouring water into a basket - a complete waste of time and effort.

It was rawlings, mr socialist who abolished subsidies for education, health and then sold off all the state assets he could lay his hands on which started this ndc trend of wicked capitalism where you literally die if you can't pay for a doctor and the state will kidnap you and your new born baby if you cannot pay your maternity cost.
When we have outsiders like IMF and the world bank making policies for you, one, they are not on the ground so they will not have the basic understanding of the cause and effect of their actions. two, their interest is their primary concern.
Developing an economy is not as complicated as some will have us believe. When we adopt those funny western models is where we go wrong. Kutu and Nkrumah kept it simple. Produce more of what we need. that triggers a chain of reactions which develops the country as a whole. job creation, wholesome and fresh food keeps us away from the doctor, foreign exchange that we save and gain from export can be used for investment.
Lets just keep it simple

It takes a very intelligent person to first of all understand the ideological connotations of political practice on the ground - particularly in under-developed societies. It takes an even much more intelligent person to break down down those ideological variables into simple common language for the understanding of all.
You have managed to do just that. My compliments go to you. But next time please use an identifiable and distinct pseudonym so that we can follow and track each others trend of thought and contributions.

Do you think some reasonable people will listen to what makes sense. The CPP chairman must understand that access to political power is the only means by which the party can make the changes she is talking about.

It is individualistic, in the end it only promotes to hardships and agitations that leads to costly political penalty

The CPP is the only political party in Ghana with the right answers to solve the nation's economic problems. All the other parties are just slaves and puppets of western economic policies which have retarded the economic progress of the nation.Which african country has successfully solved its economic problems by pursuing western economic policies.Rather policies of western financial institutions like the IMF and the World Bank have deepened the economic crises of african countries. The CPP will never be a slave of western economic policies which have so far failed to solve the nation's economic problems. The main thrust of CPP's economic policies will be to fight unemployment and poverty by harnessing the nations resources for the benefit of all ghanaians.
