Why is government not interested in dealing with the waste in the utilities companies? The truth is that the waste in these institutions are being freely without any effort transferred to the ordinary man on the street to bore.
There are many people using electricity which are not being paid for or being underpaid forl. This and other accountability issues are always being raised by the citizenry but no concious efforts are made to address them. Shouldnt this be a campaign issue in 2016? I will use it as one which will be taken to another level when the time comes.
The utilities as a way of dealing with issues like this can advertise telephone numbers for the public to call and give direction. This is very easy to do but nobody will do nothing about it.
We are only interested in passing cost to the people without any effort to lift off the burden. It is now a mantra for government officials and politicians in general to say that we care about the people without any practical move to show for it. It is only rhetorics.
I wish to promise this class of professionals that their honemoon has come to an end. I hope to be active to make those pretenders unpopular, whether they like it or not.

There is a woman living and who owns a house aroud Fish pond in Nii Boi Town which has connected to the water pipeline illegally and it is suspected that she has not paid any bii till date. Who is supposed to find out this and right the situation? Is somebody not paid to do this sort of work? Are we getting value for money for the services government pays for?
The tax payer is getting fed up with the musical chair approach to governance in the country. Ghanaians should begin to demand for value because nobody from anywhere will do it.
I will support the government to perform its duties to the people but when it fails I will not hesitate to expose the inefficiency as well. This is no hatred. I only want to get my duefrom the state.

Until we start to process our NATURAL RESOURCES to either FINISHED OR SEMI-PROCESSED MATERIAL,Ghana should not think of any PRICE INCREASE on OUR RAW MATERIALS.
THEY WILL ALWAYS DICTATE THE PRICE FOR US TO ABIDE BY,BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHERE WE FALL SHORT,AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.
My question is WHERE IS AFRICA IN THE EQUATION,WHEN THE WESTERN BLOCK PRICE THEIR MACHINES,VEHICLES,SHIPS,ETC?
GHANA LACKS THINKERS,said MR.BEN KUMBOUR.
We need to start somewhere,in processing our NATURAL RESOURCES,so in future,we could also dictate some prices.

WHERE WE ARE IS where we would always be,until we decide, where we rather be.

It's very clear that the voodoo economics and praising singing that has characterized the NDC's approach to addressing the fiscal and economic imbalances and challenges occasioned by their gross inability to comprehend the dynamics at play have left the economy seriously tottering and tanking badly with no end in sight. The economic fundamentals of the country when the NPP took over in 2000 was in the pits. It took the worthy leadership of President Kufuor and his team to surmount and grow the economy from a moribund HIPC economy to a lower middle income economy by 2008, a very impressive feat by all standards. It is a clear fact, and hugely indisputable, when one juxtaposes the current situation to what pertained during the NPP era, and this is when this Mills-Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration has been enjoying windfall proceeds from high gold, cocoa and oil prices. Gross mismanagement and a huge inability to think coupled with a team who are clearly clueless and mentally handicapped and directionless, have culminated in the situation in which the country finds itself, an economy which is in the tanks, soaring interest rates, high taxes, businesses collapsing, record high unemployment, escalating public debt, etc, etc. The ineptitude and incompetence intermingled with the huge propensity for graft, has effectively rendered Ghana, a failed state under the NDC administration headed by the Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration with critical infrastructure to drive investment virtually non-existent.
