They know they can give the police 5 cedis and get away with it so they don't care what they do on the roads. When I started driving in Ghana, I could not believe the number of brain dead drivers I encountered on a daily basis, especially around Teshie.

The drivers MUST report any problems to their boss that happen between those require checkups...Drivers in usa must have health exams every 2 years unless a problem is known then the DOT/DMV will only give a 1 year medical card showing you have no diabetes( will cause fainting/coma) or eye problems! So Ghana drivers of trucks and bus's should be required to get a CDL (commercial drivers permit)

If we are people with thinking abilities, roads leading to all our regional capitals should be at least, number one class road because that help commerce to flow. Commonsense has eluded us and I will throw a challenge to anyone to go and see how deplorable that road is. Our leaders are pathetic.

This accident is very sad but it should have happened to a foreign dignitary who happens to the Chief Justice of Russia.

The issue is that, if a government squanders the resources of the country on foolish things like dolling out million to cronies like Woyome and paying bribes in Millions of Euros, and creating non-existent forests and nkonfem, then there will be nothing left to build roads, and improve health care and lift the social and economic infrastructure of the country. The meat will all be gone, and we will be left with the bare bones. When incompetent loud-mouthed propagandist rule, this is you get. And this is no news, it happens to individual Ghanaians on a daily basis. Have you read the pregnant women who lost theirlives in the Ambulance accident to day. Ghana we have to sit up for nobody knows what would happen at a particular time. Look at the state in which our hospitals are, Korle Bu, Ridge, Adabraka, La, etc. the logistics are they available?
