if you have the CEO of PPA without professional procurement qualification, you reap inefficency, lack of direction and progress. the AB Ajei era saw value for money practices even though not perfect. what we are seeing now is always sole sourcing and selective tendering to political cronies. as a professional, my heart bleeds for Ghana when we think judgement debt is one of the only leakage in the system. attention should be shifted to public procurement and one would be shocked. Ghana is dying because of square pegs in round holes as a result of political patronage and overt greediness.
