  Some cedis were mentioned and dollars as well!! Since most people are arithmetically young and naive, show how the $3b tax came up to?? Let's know!! We don't seem to know it all, especially how we all feel the contribution from the gold sector is almost like a dash to the imperialist agencies!!!!!! The capital flight made from our mineral sector, especially the Gold mining, should stop please!!!!!!!!!!

  The windfall tax is for the years when the price of gold was very high. It should be applied retrospectively. The mining companies cannot deny the massive profits they have made over the years. They should give something back ...

  So, for you to be padding yourself today that under your administration you managed to get Mining Companies to return $3.2 billion representing 73%of their revenue back into the country as against statutory requirement of 25% your achievement is
  delusional.
  Toni, where were you when the decision requiring the Mining Companies to return just 25% of their revenue back into the country was made?
  How were you able to get the Mining Companies to return 73% about 50% more than what they were statutorily required to do?
  Did you bribe the Mining Companies or threaten them to get their voluntary agreement to return 73% of their mining revenue already in their foreign banks back into the country when they were knowledgeable that they were under no legal obligation to do that? We know how Business Executives operate. Hardly would a Business Executive do what you want us to believe they did.
  Mr. CEO, to say the least, your presentation doesn't add up nor make any sense whatsoever. As a Chief Executive Officer, you should be aware that Ghanaians expect honest and truthful information from their public officials unfortunately you failed our expectation.
