Mr Herford has forgotten that despite some of the monies went into illegal hands some genue beneficiaries have also made livelihood from it. Any attempt to scrap gyeeda for any period is likely to spark political violence among the youth and is likely to be the beginning of the west Africa spring. Jobless youth in especially northern Ghana wouldnt sit down waiting for that nonsense and may dangerous. Eventhough i support the restructuring and taking gyeeda from unscrupulous hands. But care must however be taken.
