Although, the average nPP members lack sense of same, I suspect this 'learned' person would have been quick to realize that not dismissing their misfiled petition as early as February was even an attempt by the SC to add value to the bad-faithed petition. Nonetheless, ideological blindness prevented nPP members and lawyers from appreciating that wanting over 3 000 000 votes to annulled just based on duplicate serial number alone was enough to show their shallow-mindedness.

Even me as a non lawyer did not find merit in the case which claimed corruption on the part of EC and even the later abandoned charges of corruption on the part of NDC! Who says election are hitch-free? Did he not read the judgements based on their 'pink-sheeted evidence'? The best they could have had was a re-run of elections in certain polling stations! But why bother us with tht? GOD knows better and did better and Ghana is better off moving forward. Supreme Court Ayekoo. Chief Justice, thank you for live broadcast. Initially I did not get it. FOLKS, WAT ARE THE COMMONALITIES BETWEEN BOTH PERSONS HERE? AA AND MAHAMA ARE BLESSED WITH A TAXABLE POPULATION, STAR PLAYERS, AMAZING POOL OF TALENT N RESORCES TO EASILY BECOME A FIRST RATED
NATION/SOCCER TEAM. HOWEVER, THE TRUE POTENTIAL CAN NEVER BE REALISED (NO AFCON TROPHY FOR AA, NO REAL ECONOMIC IMPRVMENT/INFRASTRUCTURAL DEV IN GH). SIMPLY BCOS AA AND MAHAMA ARE CLUELESS N CONFUSED.
THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WAT TO DO....AND DONT HAVE THE COURAGE TO KNOW HOW.....ISNT THAT PETTY N PATHETIC?
LOOK AT THE QUALITY OF OUR REGIONAL STADIUMS...DEPLORABLE. KUMASI STADIUM HAS TOO MANY POTHOLES, THE PLAYERS WERE TRIPPING OVER THEM. ASK ATSU
SO CANT THE MIN OF SPORTS GO TO SOUTH AFRICA N SEE? PLS, JUST TAKE A TRIP TO SOUTH AFRICA N SEE WAT A REAL STADIUM LOOKS LIKE. SPEAK TO THE MINISTERS OVER THERE N TELL THEM. WE NEED THESE IN GH TOO.
DONT BE ASHAMED TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE/HELP. WE TALK LIKE HYENAS. EVEN GABON/EQ GUINEA HAS BETTER STADIUM FACILITIES
THAN WHAT WE HAVE IN GH. IF I AM KP BOATENG/ESSIEN/DED. I WONT PLAY ON THAT PITCH N TRY TO INJURE MYSELF? TWEAA, STADIUM WITH POTHOLES WEI? IN THIS MODERN DAY N AGE?
WHAT IS THE GDP OF EQ GUINEA/GABON? LOOK AT THE CONDITION N QUALITY OF OUR AIRPORTS? KUMASI N ACCRA? AGAIN, THE MIN OF TRANSPORT THE THE AVIATION DEPTS NEED TO GO
TO SOUTH AFRICA N SEE WELL, WELL. DONT SIT UR AC OFFICES IN ACCRA EATING KELEWELE N NUTS WITH FANTA N SAYING...AHHHHHHHH....LOL
LOOK AT THE STATE OF OUR ROADS N REGIONAL HIGHWAYS? ITS VERY SAD. I ALWATS GET MADD N UPSET WHEN IM IN GH......
GH IS PROLLY THE NATION WITH THE MOST HIGH QUALITY FOREIGN BASED PLAYERS IN AFRICA. YET, WE CANT WIN A MILK TIN? WHY?
UNDERDEVELOPED GH
even by africa standards ghana is waaay underdeveloped but ghanaians do not seem to notice that….

You sounded OK till you expressed reason "THIS IS WHY I HATE COMING TO GHANA". It is sad to think good and walk away from it for others to do. Your ideas would have probably won you a seat in Parliament had you sounded this as a message and reason to change the status quo on a campaign trail. What I see is a coward who can identify the least line of resistance in a battlefield but expects others to take the front positions.
Come home with your brains to fight for free education. There is a lot to teach not from the sidelines but within as one of "Africans who LOVE AND respect Ghana".

People of Ghana. Plans for next election is how to make Ghana better for the people.
Let us put all the politics behind us and start looking ahead and think faster than our real enemy. The so-called rich countries are our real opponents. We are dealing with dubious people who think ahead of time. They provided us with systems(Education, Politics, economic etc.) that will make it easier to control us. For instance, we are using a political system which is non-Ghanaian/African. So now instead of looking at how to improve Ghana, we focused on political wrangle for a year. Waste of time. Those who introduced us to the system will NEVER do that. It happened in the USA. They negotiated rather than waste time fighting. They put their nation first and dealt with politics later. Finally in 2008, Americans voted overwhelmingly for Democrats not the Republicans who rigged the last election for George Bush (election fraud in Florida State).
So I request Ghanaians, especially the NPP and all other Ghanaian organisations to focus on what will make Ghana a better place.
Let start talking about our natural resources. At this point I will ask three questions.
1. Who is exploiting our natural resources?
2. Where is our oil revenue going, who is taking the lion share, the Nation Ghana or a small foreign company?
3. Is our Gold industry in the hands of Ghanaians?

Elections are won by the aggregation of votes from polling stations and not in the ANUS of Pink Shits . Nonsense .
Next time focus well well at the poling stations and not pretend its a fooling station for NPP fooling agents, who foolishly signed to the shits of PINK. Nonsense .
Instead of calling for a recount, peradventure NPP will find their damn mother fucker evidence on the ballot papers and remove all FOREIGN materials, NPP was calling for annulment of votes and at the same time trumpeting the "LET MY VOTE COUNT" slogan .
What contradiction. ? I see this behavior of the NPP as a deliberate ploy and scheme to retard the progress of the nation. I mean SABOTAGE .
Thank GOD Ghanaians are discerning and will pay back in 2016 elections. Easter region will fall to the NDC . I rest my case

No election is fair, even in developed nations, the just USA elections wasn't fair, because some part of USA was tornadoed. Many people ignored voting because of their mental state.
Ghana and Africa cannot have developed elections, until we move away from the state of poverty, where politicians stopped deceiving people.
The case was not meant to disrule the EC's declaration but to bring to light, "Ghana is not there yet". One man's (Nana) happiness cannot be a whole debt to a nation. In 2008, Nana lost intoto to Mills, but NPP used their incumbency to re-run elections. No where in true democracy an incumbent would loose 1st round elections and win the 2nd round. Example is UK's coalition this time, where Labour went for Conservatives and Lib Dems in coalition. Gh had to spend money for 2nd round, but not this time.

See what calls himself a lawyer: "we were expecting the verdict to go our way" Why wouldn't the petitioners think so, so long as they were made to believe that as Awuku indicated in the leaked tape, they had 8 of the 9 Justices being sympathetic to them. Evidence? On the face of the pink sheet? You and I were not there? Voting Without Biometric Verification: figures taken from C3 of the pink sheet which were filled in error?! Concocted evidence on the face of the pin sheet?! and you call yourself a lawyer? Are these the legal luminaries the NPP have been boasting of? What a pity. It's really good that the petition hearing was telecast live. We were well educated on the case. Thanks to the intervention of the CJ and GTV

It's about time the NPP party put the whole 2012 election and it's attendant petition behind them, and do the necessary work, about making the party more formidable, more stronger, more attractive, and more appealing and stop this back and forth going on. Go and prepare and come back and do away with the likes of Samuel"womafunu"Awuku, Kwadwo"Sir John"Owusu Afriyie and any individual in the NPP who subtracts instead of adds to the NPP party. The demographics of politics has changed drastically, and it's important that the NPP party, changes it tactics to encompass, those outside their traditional "world bank enclaves" and seek to rope in those on the fence, who really don't give a damn about whether it's PPP, PNC, GCPP, NDC, NPP, NRP, or NDP, governing the country ie floaters. It's very important to sometimes listen with a clear mind with a view to appreciate what is being said, than to let your emotions take the better part of you. Very pertinent issues have come up which needs to be dealt with going forward, and these need to be rectified immediately.

95.5% of the sane people in the country knew the verdict would be in favour of the criminals who rigged the election. In my eighty five years on this planet,i have never seen such blatant miscarriage of justice and this could only happen in Ghana/Africa-and we must accept it. This is how democracy/tribalcracy works in the black Africa. Now every sane and patriotic citizen of this country would understand his/her right to choose who to govern him/her was denied by the stolen verdict by notorious NDC and endorsed by the judges who have their little prejudices be they political or tribal. If these same judges could not defend three of their members including a nursing mother and army officer,-what made Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia think;-the verdict would go their way?The system is corrupt and those at the helm of affairs are rotten to the core. And besides,it is all about money; and NDC has plenty of the stolen money- from the people to pay for the service of the corrupt judges. The judges who sat on this infamous case need to examine their consciences and remember this saying,-'The Honour of a nation depends on the morality of that nation'-Posterity will judge you.Shame on you-sika ntsi-Nana Egyir Aggrey Snr citizen

Could Ghana have handled the truth?Everybody, even the SC judges , knows that the ruling was unfair. However, that was the only right way to stabilize Ghana, given the circumstances prevailing at the time such as;
1) The huge cost of a change over
2) NDC, unlike NPP, would never accept a defeat without a fight, which could bring Ghana to a civil war.
3) the EC would have lost its trust completely as a respectable institution to oversee future elections.
4) And finally, true justice by the SC would have forced them to exercise same on the collosal misappropration of state funds by the NDC during the elections which could have ended many of their leaders, including Mahama, in jail.
NO! Ghana could not have handled the truth. So let us accept the SC false judgement so we can move forward for peace sake, as Nana said
Remember, the whole Ghana was praying to God for peace not fair judgement after the verdict and He gave it to us in an unusual way.

Load of useless evidence. Three that werer rejected 9-0 times 3 were all fabricated. they are known to any law in the country. And those were the places most votes were to be annuled It is normal for judges to split on points of law. Even those who found for the NPP only asked for re-run in affected areas, which are all NDC strongholds. NPP forget 2012 and focus on 2016 and hope that you are able to get floating voters on your side. Otherwise you would lose again.

If everybody should use his/her own yardstick to determine what is fair or unfair, there will be chaos that will totally consume all of us. In fact this is what the law seeks to prevent by putting the power to determine what is fair/just or unfair/unjust in the hands of judges - in this case the 9 SC judges.
If the majority of 9 judges dismiss a petition, then that is fair by the law and that is what matters. Only the law's "fair" is fair.
It is true that judges are human and so can make errors but they are the best of humans we can have. Even if their overall verdict makes you weep bitterly, that is justice for you.
Going by just commonsense as a layman, there was only one way the SC could rule if their aim was to prevent chaos - and that is what, I think, they did.
Earnestly, the SC verdict was far away from what the petitioners sought. They wanted Akufo Addo to be declared the outright winner of the December election hence the president-elect. This would have landed Ghana into an irrecoverable abyss. Hence the minority of the judges who did not dismiss the petition refused to grant the petitioners' request by ordering re-runs in the polling centres where there were irregularities. This looks a wise decision to me.
If Akufo Addo were to have been declared outright winner of the Dec 2012 election, by the time President Mahama, his ministers and numerous other appointees hand over, Ghana would have been in ruins.
Had Akufo Addo been as peaceful and reconciliatory as he now wants the whole world to believe, he would not have pursued this useless venture in the first place. But he is so much obsessed with a selfish ambition that he does not care even if Ghana goes down the drain. No doubt he is well known for his "all die be die" mantra.
Now look at what he is doing in his own party. In a party that has clear rules about how a person can become a presidential candidate, Akufo Addo wants to be declared unopposed presidential candidate. He is not interested in the reorganization of the party after a resounding defeat. But I know NPP can handle this.

if the supreme court had given approval to the petitioners request that over 3million Ghanaians who stood in the scotching sun to vote should lose their genuine votes for akuffo addo to be declared the president, what would akuffo addo and his followers tell those Ghanaians who had their votes annulled? the regions that would have suffered most in this crazy request would have been the three northern regions as well as the volta region. would akuffo addo feel safe travelling to these affected regions as the president of the country? what do they think will be the reaction of these regions in future elections? will they order that they should not take part in future elections the way their tin god and mentor prof busia did in the 1969 elections when they banned all cpp activists from participating in that elections. wont they be dividing the country with such undemocratic tactics? did these people think about the unity of the country when they went to court?

the supreme court verdict did expose akuffo addo as not a lawyer. most of the lawyers around Philip Addison were all said to have been trained in the unlawful chambers of akuffo addo. the allegation that he was using the law certificate of a dead man is becoming the truth every second of the day. if he had the experience as a repute lawyer why did he not know that he would lose the battle at the supreme court? it is only a layman who is not a lawyer would go the way he akuffo addo went at the supreme court because such a layman would have preferred to go to court for his case to be handled. or akuffo addo believed that since most of the justices on the bench were appointed by the up/npp tradition especially dotse and anim yeboah, they would turn down the will of the people and give them what they wanted? at least courtesy Sammy awuku Ghanaians have now known which of the justices are die hard npps!

Why,why? This all die be die people should allow us the rest. the verdict is over & Ghanians are now of how the nation will develop.Anyway, what did the NPP WANT,all the 6 cases they presented as evidence are bogus & for that matter have no merit. In those polling stations were people voted without verification; how did that affected the result. Do they want to tell us the people voted for Nana Addo but because the machine could not verify them that's why John Mahama won, or were they able to prove at court that in those areas where presiding officer didn't sign Akuffo Addo won but because the presiding officer as human as he is forgot to sign the pink sheet Akuffo Addo's vote was was given to JM? They should give us rest.Their case is the most weakest election petition anywhere in the world. This evidence is presented to a chief in a certain town where people have make much complain about the performance of an Odikro & the chief want the people to prove their case with an evidence. They say what? water tight evidence? very very porous.

The verdict could not have been anything other than what we have. We Xtians have prayed for the right verdict to be passed. The Lord has spoken. Believe it or not.
