You're missing the point: The twisted verdict given by the court in the face of Afari Gyan's admission of Over-voting,and other irregularities is a travesty of justice.

What the verdict did was, it reinforced "over-voting", "voting without verification" and ALL the irregularities exposed and admitted in the court of law.

Second, the verdict discourages parties to resolve issues through the court system, a habit we thought the court would have encouraged by punishing the irregularities exposed. Failure to punish same, opens a floodgate for post electoral violence.

The judges have missed a chance to assert their power and respect that Rawlings rubbished long time ago!! Lets' be objective if we have love for our country!!

Our grandfathers/mothers did not have an iota of of the language but brought up decent and upright young men and women because their parents imparted wisdom to them. These days people with great command of the language abound, one a pesewa but what value is that adding to our lives? Nothing but chaos, because everyone is an authority and knows better just as Gabby is portraying. His idea of "purity" is the SC ruling in favour of his cousin which is purely irrational. If "Ghanaian" can make a determination that Gabby's stance is irrational, who then amongst the two is intelligent?

Remember the English language is not our mother tongue and not all of us by the quirk of fate had the opportunity to educate ourselves to the level where we can sing our thoughts in refined words-this does not however preclude us from participating in issues that will invariably impact on us, as people from Ghana.

U had an alternative to seek a recount of the ballots if at all you believed that the voter actually elected your candidate. However, because you knew you lost the elections, you were looking for opportunities by which your opponent's votes could be nullified so that your candidate would win. This sounded very strange n spoke volumes of a very desperate man who wanted to be president at all costs! Your people also went about bragging that you had 8 of the judges on your side to nullify votes so as to practically rob the presidency for u. I think if Npp want to win elections, they have to stop people like otchere Darko to speak on their behalve. They have to stope people who infuse tribalism into npp. People from other tribes other than Ashantis and Akims should be encouraged in the party and don't let your communicators ridicule them.I promise you the NPP if you fail to adhere to this advice Npp will continue to remain a minority party. When Kuffuor worn two terms under Afari Gyan we did not hear all this hullabaloo they termed all those two elections free and faire but all the other four that NDC worn was rigged as per NPP. It's because, the petitioners were OVER-AMBITIOUS to capture power to "chop-chop." That is the only singular reason. So, all of these NPP guys had positioned themselves well, well, well like hyaenas awaiting to prey on defenseless animals in the forest. I do not believe, the NPP guys are making excessive noise because they have agape love for our motherland. My surprise is, some of our brothers who are uneducated, would not make senseless comments as that of Sir John and Gabby. I strongly believe, the hopes of Sir John and Gabby are dashed because they most probably positioned themselves of taking up appointments in the NPP government "to chop chop" if the verdict had gone in favour of the petitioners. However, since the verdict has gone the other way round, they are crying foul, extremely peeved and confused. If it had gone in their favour, I believe they would be praising the nine justices and wishing them well and their families. May God have mercy on NPP and teaching them to accept defeats in the future and give us a break.

Reuters had already predicted that Mahama will stay in office as the evidence in court was being seen by international legal luminaries as incredibly weak.THIS IS WHY TSATSU ASKED THEM IF THEY CAME TO COURT BEFORE CONSULTING A LAWYER. The US gave its citizens a travel warning because it could not fathom how the so called educated and learned men in the NPP were anticipating victory with all odds stack against them and kept telling lies to their supporters. Are these the learned men in the NPP? God Have Mercy on Ghana as their understanding is far backward than pre-historic eras.
Do you think the NDC and EC legal teams were stupid to have agreed to the 2 categories chosen by the Supreme Court to determine this case? Legally smart lawyers would have known the NPP had no case using the second of those two categories as a determinant in a case of this magnitude. The NPP and their lawyers lacked wisdom, vision and experience. Instead of concentrating on the case they chose to attack Tsatsu as being nobody and calling Mahama names but in the end Tsatsu exposed Bawumia as a liar and proved the petition was only made in bad faith and the belief that the corrupt judiciary will favour them since the Chief Justice will select mainly NPP judges to grant them their diabolical desires. However, most of the NPP judges realised any injustice could lead the country to war and they will be forced to seek refuge outside Ghana as refugees and even host countries might have them tried for causing and contributing to a needless war, genocide and human rights violations including murder. You either get sense now or go to your grave without one Mr Darko!!!

The court rules based on evidence presented to them. And the fact that court does not rule in plaintiff’s favour doesn’t make the court corrupt. If you didn’t trust the court and you could be your own judge, why petition the court? Do you think any sensible court will annul close to 4 million votes to enable Nana Addo win? What were your meaning of LET MY VOTE COUNT? What do you take these people for? Why didn’t you petition the court to annul all votes cast in Ashanti Region but other regions? Accordingly some nec and campaign team members even voted against nana on both occasions because particularly of garbage's conduct. Take it or leave it that is the impression out there. Nana Addo wanted 4 million votes cancelled so that he could become president. Gabby is insulting the SC judges for dismissing the petition.

Gabby should understand this - the judges have know the law and have a duty to uphold it; Gabby knows nothing and has no such duty. The judges were privy to evidence, the sworn affidavits, which were not made public. The judges are highly experienced, and are independent of the executive.

Gabby should keep quiet or risk being hauled up for contempt of court.

If the petitioners wanted an opinion on the electoral malpractice, they'd have brought the case before NANANOM rather than the court.
The precedent the judges have set is such that, NOBODY will waste his/her time to bring electoral malpractice case before them AGAIN.

Gabby is talking about JUSTICE tied to peace, not some "RIGHT TO LORD OVER THE COUNTRY", as you put it.

The next time Ghanians use cutlasses and guns to try to settle scores over over-voting and electoral irregularities, remember that they'll be doing so because the Supreme Court will not be useful in resolving the case.

The Supreme Court has erred in rubbishing the proven case of OVER-VOTIONG and other irregularities.

What did Vice-president say the other time after the verdict? If this stupid, confused and idea-lacking Amissah Arthur's contemptuous statements have been ignored, in spite of public outcry that he must be brought to book, then let these NDC fools and morons insulting Gabby watch their tongues. They must not begrudge him at all for telling the judges that their verdict was a "corrupt judgment". Ghana is not for NDC. Of course, the whole world can attest to the fact that it was a calculated, malicious attempt to nail Akufo Addo on the cross. Everybody has remained silent not for fear of the judges or NDC, but respect for the rule of law. NPP's commitment to peace is the reason for all those accolades trickling in from world powers.

"Patapaa" party, NDC would have turned the country upside-down by now if the verdict had gone against them. That's the gospel truth. By now their 'kwasia' president, Mahama would be applying for a review. Yes, that is the striking difference between a mature, peace-loving NPP and an infantile, coup-oriented, violent-filled NDC.
