Can someone point what Muntari did that was so disrespectful to the coach for him to be excluded from this list? Looking at the squad, Muntari has been replaced by Kevin, who refused to play for us when we needed him; been replaced by Essien, whom by far Muntari has been playing club matches more than he has for the past year; been replaced by Andrea Ayew, who decided not to show up just because his younger brother wasn't invited to 2013 AFCON; been replaced by Albert Adomah and Solomon Asante, whom by far Muntari is way better than both players. Does this make sense?

I know, the excuse of having too many left wingers would be used to justify this Muntari's exclusion. Nevertheless, Andrea Ayew could return to the right wing as he was used by Plavi during the 2012 AFCON match against Tunisia. Dede is even more deadly in that area than at the left wing. Therefore, why the both Adomah and Asanti were not excluded instead?

Oh well, apart from the little bias in the invitation, the squad is good.

Now, 3 players to be taken out to me may be the two I mentioned above, Solomon Asante and Albert Adomah, from the midfield; whilst Kissi Boaten may give way for Essien to take his position at defense. Remember, we have no more experience defenders and Essien's defensive experience would be needed in this match. One thing though, if Essien is going to be placed at the defense, Appiah should avoid pairing him with any of the central defenders. I say that because according to the Black Stars record, every time Essien will play at the heart of our defense, we get beat. Therefore, right full back will be better for him and the country. Other than that don't even think of including him in the middle of our defensive line.

Another option and to be the best option is to pair him with Rabiu Mohammed at the defensive midfield. In that position, he will be battling with Katonga, Zambia's captain.

This is my selection for the match. Acheampong has the agility to penetrate defense with speed and toughness and quick flip passes.

Ayew can produce goals with headings. Essien not fit can use experience for breakthrough passes. Agyeman Badu can help defense while enforcing the foward line.

K Asamoah controlling left frank, while helping forward with creativities. KP should help defending and attacking.
J. Mensah should hold put protecting keeper. The remaining two can roam as the ball moves.

Let me say that inany level of professional sports you are going find athletes with different ego and emotions. It takes open minded coach to handle them instead of this control nonsense. Kwesi Appiah, can't handle professional players who disagree with certain decision. Its either his way or the highway. If he carries on this way without any middle ground....I for see serious issues arising in the future. I will urge him to seriously reconsider his position and recall Sulley for the final phase of the qualification. Slim could you could start a petition to have Sulley recalled?

Here me out, Bro, this is a big match and all of them are dying to represent. We have options with Muntari included which Kevin and Andrea could have played from right mid whilst Kwedwo Asamoah and Sulley Muntari could have played from left mid. Each player and a stand-by. This is the main option we have. In this way, our bench is as strong as our first team. This is the reason I'm disturb. At least, call the player, talk to him about his slim chance of featuring in this match and allow him to sit at the bench. When he is needed, let him go in and perform. What Muntari is capable of doing on the pitch with ball, both Solomon Asante and Albert Adomah are not there yet. They can't do. When have you seen these two players scored for us. With the limited chances Muntari gets, if opponent goalkeepers would be examined, few drops of urine, would be observed.

Inviting Adomah and Asante, what option is the coach going get? We could have used this tough match to set up our main team, I mean the 23 core players.

Anyway, the deed is already done. Let us hope for better.

When I saw the apologies flying in, I said that Muntari is the only one who should walk straight back into the team. All the others (including Essien) should be made to WORK their way back into the team, but alas, they have walked into the team and muntari dropped. I am one of the people who defend AA because I believe we have to give him a chance, but actions like this make it difficult to argue against those who say he brings personal issues into football

You don't need stars to beat ZAMBIANS. Sudan have proven to us.Have many people ask their-selves why small teams perform well against ZAMBIA then the so call big national teams?

Apart of the fact that most of our players claim Zambia ill treated Ghana during the the resent match we played against them,they beat us and they could have beaten us more if they should have taken their chances.

Zambia missed so many scoring chances that we Ghana were fortunate to concede just agoal and that is a fact.

Sudan performs creditable against Zambia because Sudanese have team that don't stand ball watching but move from the start of the game till the end.The only way to beat Zambia is to have midfielders who are not 'ball watchers" yes midfielders who always run and cover spaces as soon as the opponent have the ball.To be able to do that you need midfielders who are anger for success as well physically fit to run for 90 minutes .

That is why we don't need stars for Zambia game. Ethiopia drew with Zambia by applying the same method. Sudan beat ZAMBIA and Drew with them in the return match encounter through the same procedure.

Ghana lost to Zambia because GHANA midfielders behave as 'pro" and always stand and watch ball instead of moving to cover up spaces when Zambia is in possession of the ball or Ghanaian players moving into empty spaces when Ghana is in possession of the ball to create scoring opportunity.

Ghana can beat ZAMBIA with the following squad.

The instructions will be to inform both lateral midfielders.The 7 and 11 to fall back anytime the opponent have the ball to help the lateral defenders 2 and 3 respectively. Also the attacking midfilder which is number 8 to be the engine of the game.He should join attack and comes back when the opponent have the ball.

Advice the midfielders never to stand ball watching and move into empty spaces when Ghana have the ball as well as closing the Zambia down as soon as they (Zambians are in possession).

IF coach Appiah decide to use ESSIEN KVP in midfield because they are stars Ghana will pay through the nose because they lack the strength and speed to tackle this ZAMBIAN team who are workaholic.

No body should think ZAMBIA were eliminated from the AFCON 2013 So they are weak team.They played with teams who coaches mapped good strategy to neutralize them .

One important aspect is that Ghana should not think of revenge so much as to be making "stupid" attacks like we did when we played them in their backyard or ZAMBIA will seat back and attack us on counter.We need a draw to qualify.We should let the heat be on them because they need win to qualify.

With this selection and the said advice Ghana win easily.If we select stars then Ghana will laugh through the wrong side of their month.

May God bless GHANA and i pray ZAMBIA should fall but it wont be an easy task
