The relationship that exist between Ghana and China has to be based on a core principle of mutual respect, and no amount of Chinese "investments" should tolerate the idea that Chinese people may come into Ghana and destroy the country. Ghana is in the process of being re-colonized - and by the Chinese! Our politicians may very well be accomplices in the process of selling out mother Ghana. A "free" ministry building here. A "free" roadway there, and for this Ghana is supposed to sit still and let lawless Chinese people rape the country. Let me remind you again that China has over a billion human beings. They can export 23 million of them to Ghana and double our population without breaking a sweat. We have seen what their citizens have done in Ghana. No amount of their "investment" money is worth this rapaciousness. Citizens of any country who come to Ghana must respect Ghana, and obey all the laws.

In other words because of the submissive mentality of black people, its all too easy for even the most well meaning of saints or Angel Gabriel himself to fall in to temptation to take advantage of us.
I hope we Ghanaian's don't just see this as a poverty reduction and wealth creation episode, but rather as an opportunity to build our scientific, technological and industrial base, it is the weakness in this areas which made us susceptible to slavery and colonialism and relegates us to poverty. Until this is achieved no amount of wealth creation or development aid or economic ties or whatever can help us . We would always come back to square one.

The most annoying aspect of your contribution is the fact that for a country that has virtually been brought down to its knees by unfair western exploitation for over 300 years, what again have you got left or are you trying to protect?

You say "Ghana is in the process of being re-colonized - and by the Chinese!" Do you know what colonialism means? I am the most ardent anti-imperialist Ghanaian you can get and I dont see any signs of an attempt by China to colonize Ghana. The problem with some of you is that you have been enslaved and colonized for so long by Europe that you have genetically become a natural slave and either you dont understand or cant stand the thought that others are in the process of helping you break the chains of slavery that have held your mind hostage to the whims of your slave drivers.

I would have credited your contribution with some respect if you had directed your misplaced venom at those who have continued to keep us in the position as their slaves rather than to those who have never enslaved us, colonized us or exploited us in any way but have rather tried to help us build some dignity for ourselves.

Even if 50,000 illegal Chinese sneaked into the country and engaged in galamsey, which is probably the only problem you have with them, it is better than 10 individual western imperialists exploiting our oil and giving us $400 million a year whilst they take about $4 billion away. Besides, the BRICS - (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) group of nations, dominated by China, is committed to invest in billons of dollars in Africa under e Thekwini Declaration of the 5th BRICS Summit of March 2013 in South Africa, in areas of infrastructure support, industrialisation of Africa, job creation, skills development, food and agriculture development.

All these are happening under bilateral treaties with African states and not under a galamsey regime but under the rule of law.

Ghana can get over $100 billion direct investment from China for industrialisation of Ghana within the next ten years if we can make the demand. So impasse with China must be eased.

I am not NPP but a true and dedicated NDC and I know for sure that what Ghanaians want is not NDC or NPP but any government that will help stop this continuous suffering and acute hardship. This government must continue to direct investors but must clamp down on their con tricks as it did to the Chinese. I don’t subscribe at all to Gheho’s language and I do not care a hoot whoever he is. What I do know is that a government must are for its citizens and the undertones and vibes from Gbeho seems to be protective of the Chinese. Listen, Mahama, if you do what this man is telling you, you will be out of office and your credibility including what posterity hold of you will be out of the window as disgracefully as Mills. You are in office not through any of these guys but through the ballot box hence your government must be both responsible and fully accountable to Ghanaians at all times. So far as you are conscious of this and act in good faith, you will be successful. Protect Ghanaians and don’t delay too much in this task. Be proactive on crime, foreigners and on corruption. No tricky deals with foreigners and no cheating to make Ghanaians second class citizens. It is good to be fair to all but the Chinese or Nigerian has a basic concept to disrespect Ghanaians. Why should the whole Ghanaian nation and her President kowtow to the Chinese? For what?

There will be tensions in trade and business and on every other aspect of life if a careful balance is not reached. Even sexual relationships must be protected based on UN human rights issues. Ghana should show leadership and our leaders must not be as naive as they have been so far. If a Chinese or Nigerian has babies with a Ghanaian woman as they have shown insatiable desire do so, they must be forced to look after the ensuring families or a system be put in place to ensure that the child is not left on the Ghanaian women to bear alone. This will correct the easy-go attitudes with which foreigners are fucking Ghanaian girls and women. You may say that I am being partisan or vulgar but I believe that am only being fair and protective of our society knowing that our collective future burden requires timely intervention and strategic planning lest it may be too late to resolve. I fully understand that some of our women are too easy and are too often enticed with money. Pity, they are so gullible but a sensible nation should protect its nationals and it should not take too much for our useless, stupid and dozy politicians to know that these women have to be protected from foreign manipulations. If a rich Ghanaian woman chooses to befriend a foreigner, well and acceptable in that, she will naturally be expected to have weighed the consequences of her exploits vis a vis her financially clout to look after such off springs before engaging in such a relationship. However, Ghanaian many girls and women are currently facing a near double social jeopardy which places them in a cache 22 where survival is between the rock and a hard place. These people must be protected by law otherwise their lives will viciously spiral out of control once these foreigners give them just babies without any responsibility. Remember, they are not just Ghanaian citizens, they are also not just gullible, in fact, they are mostly unemployed, confused and vulnerable.

Firstly, foreigners have taken over many of the areas they will traditionally be expected to work for money. Secondly, these foreigners seem to be jumping on their prey indiscriminately for sex sometimes in return for pittance. This is not just happening in Accra or Kumasi. As a matter of fact, it is happening everywhere in the country. What a culture, and a nation, where is the police, the law and order? If there is a government in the country, then this will have to be looked at. This man Gbeho is looking at just one perspective-the needs of the Chinese and Ghana, so he says but he gives no damn about Ghanaians as a people. We needed to have heard of him when the Chinese were turning the nation outside down. He kept quiet all along yet he thinks this is the right time to talk because he loves mother Ghana. Fair enough but what about the nation’s daughters and little girls? Gbeho must remember that every woman out there was born a very important person to their families. If the government cares, it must seriously rethink its foreign policy strategy and incorporate some protective elements to energise youth employment and national respect. Once again I caution Mahama to be resolute, brutish and proactive. I understand that Mahama will need to listen and make plans with his ministers. However, he must be a strong man, sometimes very independent-minded and a good visionary. There are too many useless and ordinary politicians in Ghana. Mahama should not be one. He should be fair to foreigners but must show leadership and awareness so as not to allow rampant births of bastards to hurt the economy in future. This is not about freedom of relationships-that is not the problem, it is about ensuring responsibility after childbirth. We must respect and be fair to foreigners but dear Gbeho, we are not PIGS and never will we be.

When Ghanaians were repatriated from Nigeria, it was a sad story for us, we did not have any investment there yet it was sad but these are people who have invested millions of dollars in machines in Ghana and we just by a presidential order cease all their machines and set some ablaze, what kind of country is Ghana?
A country we can boast of the former secretary general of the UN, what a shameful act, could we not have given them 3 months to pack their things and go back to their country?
About 70% of the imports are from China, because we cant produce and have bad managers of our economy and we fight them, upon all these they give us loans.
We have to be ashamed of ourselves as Ghanaians.

For how long nowhas Chinese companies and indivuduals (ex-convicts) taken over juicy contracts and valuable resources in our country, courtesy our corrupt and wicked polliticians and chiefs? Is the monies stolen annually from public funds by corrupt officials in the country not more than $5mil? I'm not against peaceful relationship with other nations but we should not do that at the detriment of our own well-being and the well being of future generations.
