Whatever happens, come the day of 'reckoning', the NPP shall be back with an highly spirited YOUTH; we are in a period of RESET, and in 2016 Ghana shall see a new phase in a POLITICAL wisdom, devoid of 'age and tribal' discrimination;
the Kufuor or the Akufo-Addo wings of the NPP and the Attah Mills cum Mahama and the Rawlings wings of the NDC will not survived. The new Politics would be pure and simple; NDC or NPP with the third(3rd) Parties inching along side.
Four(4) years is a lot of time to make that possibility a REALITY.

I share in Pratt's view, if he means that the people of Ghana should be wise enough not to waste their time and lives just so some greedy, self-seeking and uncaring politician would believe that they deserve it. I however disagree with him and all those who believe that the Supreme Court is all knowing and faultless, so Ghanaians should all shut.After all, aren't the judges appointed by politicians?

Does anybody in their right mind believe that the nine people on the bench are the wisest people in Ghana? I do not.

Unlike most Ghanaians, I have been troubled by the way the Atubuga bench has sought to withhold expression from the people of Ghana via contempt of court. If you cannot criticize the court[anywhere], then, what other governmental institution can you criticize in a democracy?

The Atubuga-led bench by behaving like a military junta has shown that Africans cannot practise democracy in the same way as people of the West do.
Even more striking to me has been how people have fallen in their faces praying for mercy from this junta-like court, and, how politicians have warned their followers simply to shut up and put up.Clearly, we still adore and admire the dictatorial tendencies of our traditions.

Mind you, I do not suscribe to the notion of heaving personal insults on public figures. I will not do it myself. But that does not mean that I or others do not have the right to do same. Have you ever heard of the saying in America that suggests that I may disagree with what you say, but, I uphold your right to say it, anyway?

For me, what must be protected is the salient right of every people, including Ghanaians, to express their views about every issue, every politician, every public figure and every institution, including the courts. If you lose this salient right you do not have a democracy.

I believe that Pratt means well when he adminishes Ghanaians against violence to prop up politicians who may not deserve it. I however warn against this bandwagon trend of immortalizing the Supreme Court against the inherent right of expression. For afterall, the nine men and women on the bench cannot be the wisest people in Ghana. They only have a job to do. And that, we must respect.

The npp chairman still does not have his house, the court asked isophoton and co to repay judgement debts, the ndc still have made no attempt to implement it. Dsp Dahoda was given bail by a court.it took them ages to comply.How many people have they detained beyond 48 hours, their party chairman actually threatened to skin the judiciary. Clearly they have no respect for the law. They worship a founder who thinks coups are better than democratic institutions. Generally they are a bunch of kubolors who should be restrained.What we need to do now is ensure the security forces will take orders from the supreme court and obey what the constitution says.The international community should be watching us closely. I don't know what the rat already knows to make him say what he is saying. In my opinion, no one should be violent but if you don't think the verdict is right you should be able to say so and ask for a review as per the law

Why should we be thinking of war whilst we actually need nothing less than developement both collectively and individually. May Ghana forever live in peace and that much, perfect peace. We have already learnt the bitter lesson from our neighbours. =e Congo crisis of the 1960s, the Biafra war, the near explosive situation of Togo, the barbaric war of Liberia and Sierra Leone as well as the Cocoa/civil war of Ivory Coast. Recently, a few Ghanaians gethered to talk about our beloved country. To go straight to the point, many of us had nothing good to boost about. We fought had to give credit to some of the concrete and asphalt we call progress; and the recent oil discoveries. But, as we analytically looked at how officials have handled some of these things, we felt we had nothing to really talk about. Ghanaians, we must sit up. If we fail to do this now, our children would become economic refugees like us outside Africa. I will reseve my comments until next week. But before I pen off, I am seeking a forum to report a serious issue that would save us from a serious calamity hovering/looming over heads. Failure to address this problem, Ghanaians would mourn death of hundreds. This is so serious that It will touch yet-to-be-child. Trust me, none of our Pastors and Prophetors have seen what is coming. Therefore, I will beg anyone, everyone who would read this article to furnish me with address/email/phone number/fax or anything of the President, and the Minister for Transportation. I will have my letter published, but before doing that I need to call the attention of our Chief Public Servants.
