They said the Elmina project was a continuation of a Harbour project proposed by NPP...and so the Chiefs must not worry...Now its transpired the sod cutting was for a Food processing plant on the only Community land of the people of Elmina: They are taking the only community land the people use for funerals, festivals, public gathering for an Indo Chinese firm . Obviously, NDC has earmarked lands to be sold to their collaborators who financed their political campaign and massive loans they have pocketed individually...BUT The people of Elmina will fight to death to protect their own because long before these Northerners crossed the Sahel to occupy their present habitation in the 18th century the people of Elmina had already met the Whiteman 300 hundred long years...Oyaee somme, NDC Fiaffitors. How about building food processing factories all over Ghana, 1 billion dollars would build about 200 processing factories and give it to the banks to sell to Ghanaians to get the investment back to the tax payer.Equip University of science and technology to train food processing technicians and manufacture food processing Machines which l know they could do .Let the banks encourage our graduates from our agriculture institutes to go into Commercial farming. This area of Ghana's economy could create millions of jobs and would increase the countries foriegn Exchange up about 12 billion dollars annually only in the agriculture sector if strategically planned and executed. The world's is population is growing even on our own continent so there is Always market for agro-products.

One day, a priest decides to take a walk to the pier near his church. He looks around and finally stops to watch a fisherman load his boat. The fisherman notices, and asks the priest if he would like to join him for a couple of hours. The priest agrees. The fisherman asks if the priest has ever fished before; the priest says no. He baits the hook for him and says, "Give it a shot, father."
After a few minutes, the priest hooks a big fish and struggles to get it in the boat. The fisherman says, "Whoa, what a big sonofabitch!"
The priest says, "Ah, please sir, can you mind your language?"
The fisherman responds (thinking quickly), "I'm sorry father, but that's what this fish is called---a sonofabitch!"
"Oh, I'm sorry," says the priest. "I didn't know."
After the trip, the priest brings the fish to the church and spots the bishop. "Eminence, look at this big sonofabitch!"
"Please father," says the bishop. "Mind your language, this is a house of God."
"No, you don't understand," says the priest.
"That's what this fish is called, and I caught it. I caught this sonofabitch!"
"Hmmm," says the bishop. "You know, I could clean this sonofabitch and we could have it for dinner."
So the bishop takes the fish and cleans it, and brings it to Mother Superior at the convent.
"Mother Superior, could you cook this sonofabitch for our dinner tonight with the Pope?"
"My lord, what language!" says the mother.
"No, sister," says the bishop. "That's what the fish is called---a sonofabitch! Father caught it, I cleaned it, and we'd like you to cook it"
"Hmmm," replies Mother Superior. "Yes, I'll cook that sonofabitch tonight."
While the Pope is over for dinner that evening he remarks that the fish is superb. He asks where they got it.
"I caught the sonofabitch!" says the priest.
"And I cleaned the sonofabitch!" says the bishop.
"And I cooked the sonofabitch!" says Mother Superior.
The Pope stares at them for a minute with a steely gaze, but then takes off his hat, puts his feet up on the table, and says, "You know, you fuckers are all right.".

I was surprised how many people insulted the Chiefs and the people of Elmina yesterday without any carefully understanding the Chieftancy issues at stake.Do not mix chieftancy with politics,the President was not there for rally.In reality,the Elmina Chiefs did not boycott Mahama but they have no right to be there.There is A Big Chieftancy dispute in Elmina now.We must understand issues very well before giving comments.Insulting ourselves is very primitive,not good for peace,stability and unity.There is no peace in Elmina,the court has ordered Nana Kwodwo Conduah not to represent the people of Elmina again until the dispute is resolved.A court conjuncture has been served to him.In traditional affairs,without the Paramount Chief the other Chiefs cannot act on their own.It has absolutely nothing to do with Prez Mahama but politicians can capitalise on it.Thank you.
