    All well and good, but is the BoG ready to regulate those megabanks? or are they going to be used by those banks to rip off the consumers as it currently is

    BoG can effectively regulate all banks in the country if only it is left out to operate on its own as a state institution devoid of political interferences.

    the federal reserve in usa does not have accounts for regular consumers..Bank of Ghana should be regulating & loaning to other banks not competing..close retail branches
