  It is known globally the expert role actuaries play in the insurance industry to say the least. Some of our insurance companies do not have actuarial departments and do not even think they are necessary probably because of ignorance. Professionalism will be compromised if not ignored and the standards will be low. Let us consider enforcing standards.
