Considering the environmental impact assessment of the use of plastics, what alternative measures and means have been put in place to address the packaging of plastics in the face of the introduction of the 20% environmental tax, which invariably would be passed on to the consumer, in the absence of a cheaper alternative, which is environmentally friendly, because if measures are not in place to this anomaly, what we are going to witness is high cost being passed onto the consumer, the environment still overburdened by the scourge of unsightly plastic waste, and the taxes so accruing to gov't, finding it's way into the pockets of John Mahama and his corrupt, thieving band of politicians and nation wreckers, with Ghana being the ultimate net losers.

Ghanaians have no argument over the 20% plastic packaging materials tax. If Ghanaians would just dispose of their waste in a reasonable manner, this does not mean, putting the trash in weeds, or empty building, to hid from the eye. The environment does not work under the rule of out of site out of mind. We have brought this upon ourselves, now the government must raise revenue to take care of the problem, that just using a trash bin from Zoom Lion could have solved the issue.
