What about helping to fight corruption in the country? Corruption in the country is the root cause of all the disturbances. You cannot fight it because you are corrupt from head to toe.

The frequent statements by the Police can be seen as a means to intimidate protesters given that they are ill-equipped and functionally incompetent in the face of mass demonstrations and are literally hiding behind their flimsy false reasons.
That the Ghana Police Force is politicised is what most people fear most, for that would be the end of our democracy.
But the recent responses to political situations seem to suggest that the Police are treating our system as a One-party state.
The laws of the land do not belong to the IGP nor the Police.
Theirs are to enforce them as stipulated in the constitution so their excuses such as not allowing protests because of lack of resources due to policing the supreme court sittings or placing a ban on legitimate protests because of the pending SC ruling are really ridiculous.
If the Ghana Police Force want their name to be mentioned in the same breath as true professionalism then they must eschew partisan loyalty and serve the nation rather the NDC.
The Police taking sides in a multi-party democracy seem to becoming a common feature of the African democratic endeavour.

If the trumpet sounds today where would you spend eternity. If you die without Christ you will regret it. Remember it would profit you nothing to gain the whole world and loss your soul. The Bible made it clear that after death next is judgement. There is no repentance in the grave. Preach and win souls to Christ. Remember,if you fail to foreward this message to ur friends, you might be held responsible for the lost of that soul.SAVE A SOUL NOW

This is an over-kill. What are we expecting? We watched the proceedings of this case on TV and have a fair idea what the rulling should be. If justice is seen to have been served, no one will make a noise. However, if justice is seen to have been thrown overboard, then the police/army cannot contain any popular uprising that will ensue. The police should remember what happened to them in Ashaiman recently. They can also compare notes with their better equiped colleagues in Egypt who are having it tough with popular uprising. The emphasis should be on the SC giving a fair rulling and not setting up special units!

Only fools will go on the rampage after the SC ruling. NPP felt the EC verdict was unfair so they went to court. NDC felt the verdict of the SC was right so they defended their case. If the SC rules, that is supreme and all must accept for the good of Ghana. We have only one country called Ghana. We may disagree but cannot tear it apart. We need to cherish our hard won democracy. We however expect the SC to give an honest judgement.
He must go- SC save Ghana now
