Anyway the announcement of a week long celebrations of the passing of our late President underscores a pertinent characteristic of our Ghanaian culture which demonstrates how we love the dead.If we can collectively exercise such enormous love for the living,our nation would be a huge beneficiary that would go a long way in minimizing the ruthless,lawlessness and malfeasance that are pervasive in our national body politic.

The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. These good for nothing propagandists party which find themselves in government can't think of anything nor show any capacity to solve many of the problems confronting the country than to sell us made up "unprecedented achievements" of a person who by all accounts was a complete flop as a president and politician.

Are you being intentionally stupid or this is the real you; a bunch of mediocrities? Good academician yes, but as a politician, Atta Mess will be just a footnote in history, may be as the first president to die in office and nothing else to crave our indulgence and nostalgia. In the fullness of time he would be a receding infinitesimal dot in the body politic. His achievements, if any, do not come anywhere close to Nkrumah's and Kufour. He should have stayed in academia which was his niche and strongest suit, instead partnering born anarchists and assassins like Rawlings and his P-NDC.

The NDC cries and punts they don't have money to pay contractors for work done, and yet they find the money to engage in obscene funerals, celebrations and pay judgement debts which fork out monies to their goons. I remember sometime ago when Castro of Cuba realized that the country's main export which is sugarcane was going bad and had to be cut but it was Christmas, he postponed Christmas and had the Sugarcane cut after which the country had her Christmas. The late president did not die at the 37 Military hospital. He died at the Castle and his lifeless body was rushed to the 37 military hospital. Truth is being suppressed in the sense that Mills was killed by those around him. Why wasn't any investigation done to ascertain the truth?

Sad as it is we should not allow the government to over spend any moneys unnecessarily at the expense of the ordinary people. Some people in authority may use this as an opportunity to make it big time.
