For instance NDC & NPP supports can organise charitable events to raise funds for their local school, hospital or orphange etc. Young people have cultural parties, tribes showing off their dances etc. These are some of things I believe would bring peace after the SC verdict is read.

He said, "The party in power never seeks to restrict the political activity of the citizens or parties as long as they do not attempt to overthrow the regime by violence. Correspondingly the losers keep their peace: The party that lost the election never resort to violence or other illegal means to prevent the victorious party from assuming office. Under these conditions a peaceful transfer of power is secured. There would be peace if these words of Werner Becker is accepted. Ghanaians need not to beg people to be peaceful. The laws of the state are to be enforced. The laws must deal with anybody who because of personal interest decided to plunge the country into chaos. Those so called pastors who are parading themselves as prophets should stop that behaviour. I remembered a man who was in ecstasy and claimed he cannot speak any language apart from the language of the gods while at Police barrier. When he was heavily slapped by one police man, he started speaking in his mothers tongue. Those false prophets or cultic prophets should stop deceiving Ghanaians. God will surely descend on them with multiple punishments. Why lie in the name of God? Why are you lying to the Holy Spirit? We all know the games the false prophets are playing in the country. The case as presented in court in all likelihood, would lead to John Mahama being asked to step down, so what is your problem, when this concern has been raised by sections of the Ghanaian public? The genesis of the fraud and how it was carried out as well as the players and institutions involved have all been laid bare for all to see, and it would only take a miracle for a dubious judgment debt facilitator and a create, loot and share disciple of the late Atta Mills, to keep on visiting on Ghanaians, your crude, propaganda infested, unintelligent and inept kind of politics on Ghanaians. In an election, many candidates stand and expect to win but only one them wins and there is no war. Similarly, in a petition only one person will win and there will be no war.
Nobody is ordained to be President. If the people did not vote for you to be President, you have to come to terms with that and not take the whole country for a ransom. Ghana is bigger than any individual's ambitions.
There is no reason why in a country like Ghana where the rule of law is practiced, there is no need to beg people to be peaceful. The Police and and law enforcement agencies must not allow anybody to break the law and go scot-free.

Please mr, minister you are wrong. Peace does not mean you should not complain when you are cheated. I hope he is not insinuating that the security will be used when people complain. Peace simply meace using the appropriate lay down channels to seek redress, eg. going to court instead of using voilence. we all saw what nearly happened after the declaration of the elections when disgruntled supporters started massing up. At that point all the supporters needed was the support of the party leadership. Fortunately, the party leadership chose to go to court and yet you are blaming them.AT THIS POINT all that we should be talking is to edge the justices to pronounce a fair and logical judgement and that is the only way peace can come to Ghana. People should not think the security alone can be use to bring peace if it comes out clear tha there is loop holes in the judgement. If it is a ploy to be singing peace so that people will swallow their bitterness then I think it will not work.Ask all the failed states whether Ghana has more security than them? That Ghana has security than Libya and Syria? These hypocrasy must stop and the truth told. once the petition was heard in public. the masses are the jury and we all saw what happened at the court and better still the record of proceedings is still there to compare to the judgement. Once again I say whether this country will stand united or fall will depend on the judgement and not the singing of peace.
