We really have a chief justice that we can be proud of.
All she needs to do now is to cleanse the judiciary of the Taliban judges who are using Sharia laws at the court to intimidate discerning Ghanaians.

Your understanding of leadership is suspect. The fact that decision are taken by all the 9 members does not mean he has to come and send silly messages.
As a leader, he is responsible for the message that comes from the bench. It is how he chooses his messages that causes some of us to hit back at him.
His action or inaction has brought the court into disrepute. For failing to crack the whip on first instance is an example. "A mere you" and that silly remarks coming from the bench is the reason why he would not be forgiven...
He should probably learn from Justice Afreh...
""Mr. Justice Afreh, presiding over an Accra Fast Track High Court said, ''every citizen of this country has a right to criticise or express concern over media reports of events, including court proceedings. So the former president was within his rights to criticise what he thought were biased, or one-sided reports of evidence produced in this court or any other court. Whether his criticism is valid, I leave to the media to say.''"
"He said the authority and reputation of the courts are not so frail that their judgments need to be shielded from criticism, adding that it is the inalienable right of everyone to comment fairy upon any matter of public importance, this right is one of the pillars of individual liberty - Freedom of speech."
"The Judge said, in view of Article 19 and 88 of the 1992 constitution, if there should be any prosecution for any offence the former president might have committed, it should be instituted by the Attorney-General."
"He said, "the matter is therefore, referred to the Attorney-General for any necessary action", saying, "in view of this I do not think that it is necessary to invite the former president to this court to retract the offensive matter and apologise''. "

If our JUDICIAL SYSTEM is apt to serve us,then I would suggest these:
TRANSPARENCY,TRUSTWORTHINESS,INTEGRITY,NOT COMPROMISING IN NEPOTISN,FAVOURITISM,PLAIN & FACTUAL,THRUTHFULNESS.
We would always respect the highest order in our soceity, because it taskes much pain to achieve that height.
Our judges must know,we are all brhind them in their decision-making in this current petition case.
They must know that one's decisions control his future.
Therefore, the future of Ghana hangs right on the decision they would come up with.
It's our prayer thaT it would come with all the satisfaction the citizenry of Ghana will always embrace.
Madam, thanks for being plain and factual.

NPP will continue to call the shots even though they might now be in opposition all because of the "hard work" Kufour did in his 8 years in power. He ensured his party controlled all important aspects of governance while he lasted. It will take a long time as well as an equally politically astute leadership for the NDC to catch up with them.
On the economic front, the liberal attitude of NPP leadership promoted and enhanced trade in all aspects, including illegal drugs. How could tons of cocaine in custody at Police Headquarters be spirited away without trace without the government bringing those in charge to book?
I reserve my comments for the mean time on how the judicial front was captured by Kufuor for his party. Fortunately for Ghana, capturing the legislature remained in the power of the people. Hence, the inability of NPP to dominate parliament so far.
NPP has always thrived when there was no order in the system. When the pick-pockets at Kejetia for instance wants to embark on a major operation, they first create a confused state among the crowd to enable them pick the pockets of their victims.
There are those who stand to lose greatly when there is order in the judiciary and so they will pull all strings to maintain a confused state so they can do what they want to do. Ghana is not out of the woods yet with Kufuor´s people in control of some of the sensitive area of governance.
