Three pastors in a certain denomination - an American, Chinese and a Jamaican - were having some difficulty making a decision regarding their Sunday church offering; specifically, which portion they should keep as salary, and which portion should go to the Lord.

The American said, "Whenever I collect the offering and the service is through, after church I put the money in a box- go outside- take a stick
and draw a line on the floor and throw the money in the air. Whatever falls on the right is for the Lord and whatever falls on the left is mine."

The Chinese said, "I put money in box, I dont draw line - I draw circle! I stand in center, throw box wit money in air- whatever fall on outside is mine and what fall inside is for Lord."

The Jamaican then replied "Mi naw draw a circle, mi naw draw a line. All

Why would the legitimate action of the court become a "dictatorship"? Surely the court is only acting in respect of its own powers and within its jurisdiction? Why must you make such a meal of the situation?

When it came to the meal, the hostess was keen to show their neighbours that they upheld Christian standards in their home.

So she asked little 5 year old Johnny to say grace.

Little Johnny was a bit shy. "I don't know what to say" There was an awkward pause, followed by a reassuring smile from the boy's mother.

"Well darling," she said, " just say what Daddy said at breakfast this morning."

His case is not included in election case despite that it is against the sitting judges. To come before the whole world is not appropriate. please change things. others who are to appeal should not come before the whole world but deal with them in another way. For the sake of the Judges.

When justice Atuguba said enough, all persons must stop and issued a final warning, Awuku was the first to disobey the direct orders of the judge. If you ask me I'd tell you the reason. He whiped the slate clean of all perjury done by both NPP and NDC. It is then on you if you go ahead and mouth off again. There is a price to pay.

There are 3 forms of government in a democracy, parliament, presidency and the supreme court. If you plan to disobey all or any one of these don't expect the people in charge to let you go free all the time. No government means chaos, trouble makers may be the first to lose it and be punished severely when all is said and done.

Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, you are wrong. Don't encourage culture of fear and intimidation. Don't inhibit the young ones from being able to express his views. Are you out of touch with realities or in your view, Ghana is a totalitarian state? Are the judges above reproach, especially if one has reason to feel that they are being biased? Don't you think it would have been better to encourage Sammy Awuku to give reasons for his statement and that such would help to make some corrections, rather than ridiculing and putting fear in him?
Do you realise that the SC's actions against him are tantamount to denying him of his constitutional and democratic rights, and his rights as someone living in a civilised society? Do you agree that it could extend to others if not checked?
That the judges saw Samuel Awuku's comments contemptuous paints a grim picture of Ghana's so-called democracy.
In fact we are worried that the judges are now behaving like village tyrants and witch hunters. We hope that they would reassess their obligations and responsibilities and act in accordance for the progress of Ghana.
