Thank you Kofi Annan for giving the opposition some indirect advice which only if they are sensible enough, they could pick up the 'indirect speech of advise in it',.
As you said, Kofi, the winner should be allowed to rule by shoring up the rule of law whilst the opposition also do what they are best at.
Which also goes to show that the Npp is good in opposing, at defence, Period!!

When the XENOPHOBIC GHANAIANS imposed their EVIL whopping $300,000 policy 'TARGETED MAINLY' at your fellow ECOWAS citizens Nigerians, before they could do any petty trading in Ghana, you did not see it as EVIL AND DRACONIAN.
Now that Britain imposed their £3000 immigration policy, you XENOPHOBIC GHANAIANS are now crying foul. What do you expect? RED CARPET in London?
What moral justification have you Ghanaians got to criticize Britain for her £3000 Immigration rule, when you HATEFUL, WICKED AND XENOPHOBIC Ghanains, with your EVIL BUSIA ACO ORDER and your ALL DIE BE DIE mentalities are 'WORST' than any country in mama Africa, when it comes to the issue of IMMIGRATION AND XENOPHOBIC.
Ghanaians should first of all remove the log in their BLACK STAR EYEs, before pointing their DIRTY FINGERS at the peck in the eyes of Britain.
Now you are talking about Ghana second chance, after 'DISCRIMINATING AGAINST YOUR FELLOW AFRICANS WITH YOUR EVIL BUSIA ACO'... ( which is first in the history of mama Africa, where Africans were labelled 'ALIENS' on the soil of Africa). The EVIL Busia action was the beginning of the end of Ghana. To get a second chance, Ghana MUST compensate all the victims of the EVIL BUSIA ACO, before Ghana can ever dream of any second chance. Mark my words.

The problem we Chanaians have is not the party that wins elections and is given the madate to rule the country. The problems stem from all fabrics of life in the country except the peasant farmers and the poor. But for these people - excuse me Kofi - all Ghanaians are corrupt. Corruption is from the root of our administrations to the presidents of the country. You had been the head of the UNO and if you had been as corrupt as Ghanain leaders - past and present- could you have maintianed the dignity you possess at present? Our leaders and the government should learn to dispense the wealth of the country intelligently so that the common people could also benefit from the national cake. Mr. Chairman, please stop beating about the bush and tell African leaders about their corruption - stealing from the countries they rule whilst the masses suffer. Mr Chairman - may God forbid - if you happen to be in Ghana and you get sick, do you think you will get the medical care that any humn being deserve? All our leaders rush to abroad for medical treatment but they refuse to revitalize the deplorable conditions in our medical facilities. Look at our school system. If it is that good why do our leaders send their wards abroad to study? When Mahama travels outside Accra to his town in the North, does he drink the water that the natives drink? Instead of our leaders buying jets and big expensive cars with our money could they have used part of monies to develop the infrastructures in the country for such poor peasants to benefit? Please be bold and tell them and stop running around the truth. There wouldn't be any second chance if we don't change our corrupted behavior.

Ghanaians remember the regime which stripped people of their properties, destroyed families and killed in the name of corruption eradication. Today, they have been found out by EOCO and the Sole Commissioner to have deliberately connived to steal millions from the State. The Supreme Court has confirmed the stealing, labelling it as an alliance to create, loot and share.
Rather than deal decisively with such gargantuan and mind boggling impunity and corruption, the President chooses to join his communication foot-soldier chorus.

Mr Kofi Annan after singing the same song of the Ghanaian opposition terrorists at the time to undermine Kwame Nkrumah at every turn, are you now quoting the man or what?
Belated sanctimonious sermons will not help recover the golden opportunities that those of you who made it almost impossible for Kwame Nkrumah to further raise the profile of Ghana and the entire Black race of Africans to the commanding position that we deserve in world affairs.
Our historical enemies may have as a result, made you the Secretary General of the UN by kicking out another more nationalist African but someday, someday when the real history of Africa is written, the chapter about you will certainly not be something to smile about.

An American business executive once said: "...give me good or bad news, because I can plan with that outcome, but in a situation of uncertainty, I will be at a loss since I can't plan."
With the two political titans duking it out at the Supreme Court in Ghana for Political Power, so many BAD things can happen since nobody out there can predict what the verdict will be.
The NDC MUST be feared right now because I suppose they're LOOTING the country blind out of fear that they may lose the court case and if that happens, then they've some cash and property stashed away to live on.
On the other hand, what could the NPP be planning on or stashing away in the event they lose the court case?
Well, NOT MUCH for the NPP except to go home in extreme sadness, deadly bitterness, lick their wounds and to lace their boots for 2016. So, those to FEAR now are the NDC politicians—who are in key government positions. Therefore, DEAR SUPREME COURT JUDGES, PLEASE HURRY UP WITH THIS CASE TO AVOID SEVERE FINANCIAL BLEEDING OF MOTHER GHANA. So, a second chance for Ghana indeed, Kofi!!

Mr Omanhene, please tell your American business executive that he is completely wrong. In fact, businesses and individuals need to plan precisely because life is uncertain. If everything was so certain, thene there would be no need for planning. You would be merely following the dictates of a given set of events and that is not planning. Planning is where and when you identify your resources, your limitations, the uncertainties you face, a set of probable events and their possible outcomes and map out your direction and actions prior to the occurrence of those uncertainties.
ie if A happens, I will do a, b c in that order, and if B happens I will do 1.2. 3.
There is never a perfect set of events under which a person or company can plan. If you wanted for good news or bad news before you plan, you could wait for ever. And look, good news today is not necessarily good news tomorrow.

Mr Secretary General of the UN, with all your knowledge and influence, you have been a failure to your nation as Ghana has never lacked the natural resources you seem to believe should empower us to richness. Ghana's issues has never involved lack of natural resources or education but rather mismanagement by leaders and through civil leaders to inspire the youth to be loyal, and creative innovators to our gifted nation. Your time was indeed full of optimistic youth who were inspired by great leaders like Mr. Nkrumah that you speak of. My question to you is can you speak of one leader today who can touch the youth of today? And please don't exclude yourself because with all the knowledge you posses, you speak to the wrong crowd. You need to educate your people about the power they posses in exercising their civil rights. Ghana needs a through civil revolution that will teach leaders and youth loyalty to their nation. Every youth of today including myself see no hope in our nation and we truly believe the only way to seek wealth is to leave a country that we love so much. All because our leaders have failed us and continue to fail.

Hmmm, that was a great speech. When Ghana develop and use all it resources, it can keep all its intelligentsia at home and improve on its development but politicians and other business leaders continue to sow the seed of discontent amongst various tribes in Ghana. I want Ghana to prosper irrespective of who is at the helm of affairs but that leader has to treat all Ghanaians equally basing all political appointments on knowledge, skills and experience and not whether you are an Ewe, Akan, Ga, Fanti, Dagomba or Frafra. When you put an unqualified person in the wrong position, you're only hurting Ghana as that person won't be able to dispense their duties properly, for they do not know what those duties are to begin with. That person's main concern will be to fill all the positions under him/her with his/her people who may be incapable of carrying out such duties and therefore unable to provide their boss with the requisite information to make proper decision implementation in that particular sector. If all our political parties put mother Ghana first before tribalism, party membership and regional associations, Ghana will move forward, ask the Tanzanians, they'll tell you it works

Kofi Annan is worried about the continuous intimidations from the NDC camp and fear there would be troubles leading to a possible civil war should the NPP be declared the winner. He's to all Ghanaians a father and it would be irresponsible on his part if he does not give a clear signal to those who are not ready to succumb to the verdict of the SC.The NPP has nothing to lose and the heat is rather on the opposqite camp.....

From the President's office, Ministers,Police department, to Judiciary is all corruption everywhere. Honestly, Ghana seem doomed.

There is too much corruption in our system. People think the more corrupt one is the smarter one is.A Ghanaian has to take advantage of every job opportunity to enrich themselves otherwise one is seen as a fool. Whoever does the right thing by the book is rather seen as the fool. One has to be a "Woyome" to be considered a hero.
Kofi Annan should join the only political party in the country with the knowledge, the conviction, the love, and the plan, to develop Ghana, and that is the Convention People's Party.Samia is good, but Kofi Annan will be a force that all will listen to. He can put the country back on the right tracks again. We may have to go back to one party rule to do that though. All on board then we can all move forward. Forward Ever!

"Our early hopes were dashed by exclusionary politics, poor economic management and corruption, which created and perpetuated political instability." Who was responible for this exclusionary politics and economic mismanagement?
As far as "ma te me ho" is concerned, I do not see why people should make a big deal about it today. At the dawn of independence, different people wanted different things. Some people did not want a unitary state. They wanted to go their own way. It is the democratic right of any people to say what they want for themselves. There is nothing wrong for me to say I do not want to live in the same house with you. All groups of people voted for what they wanted. That was democracy. The people of today's Volta Region voted to be with Ghana instead of uniting with the people of Togo. Does that mean the people in Togo should hate then for doing that?

"WE MUST MAKE MOST OUT OF OUR SECOND CHANCE,FOR WE DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THERE WOULD BE A THIRD".
THE WISE AND DISCERNING WILL NEVER TAKE THIS STATEMENT TRIVIAL,CHEAP,NOT IMPORTANT.
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER CHANCE THAN WHAT WE HAD AND BLEW IT IN 1957,AND THE ERA WE ARE IN NOW.
WE MUST GIVE THE MORE ERNEST HEED TO THE MESSAGE OUR DEAR FATHER/BROTHER,KOFI ANNAN HAS JUST SAID,LEST AT ANYTIME,WE SHOULD LET THEM (THE CHANCES WE NOW HAVE AT OUR DISPOSAL)SLIP.
PAUL IN THE BIBLE,SAID THIS IN HEBREWS 2:1-5
PLEAASE,CHECK THAT.
WE HAVE TO BE VERY,VERY SERIOUS OVER THIS STATEMENT,BECAUSE IT SUMS UP EVERYTHING THAT HELPS OR RETRACT OUR COURSE OF DEVELOPMENT.
HE COMPARED GHANA TO THE SOUTH KOREA.IT'S VERY SAD,TO SEE THE HUGE DIFFERENCE,BETWEEN GHANA AND THEM.
HE SIGHTED THE REASONS FOR THE DIFFERENCE.
ARE WE GOING TO MAKE A CHANGE TO KNOW WHAT MATTER TO US THE MOST,AS A NATION,SO WE COULD WALK AWAY FROM THE TRIVIAL?
THAT IS UP TO YOU AND ME TO DECIDE.

If KOFI ANNAN happens to lead Ghana, that would be great.
But the real or one thing we all must understand is:
GOD GIVES EVERYONE SOME TALENTS,ABILITIES & GIFTINGS,THAT ARE UNIQUE TO EACH OTHER,AT BIRTH.
KOFI ANNAN COULD BE CALLED IN THE JOB HE HAS BEEN DOING FOR THE WORLD,BUT NOT NECESSARITY,A LEADER OF A NATION,LIKE GHANA.
ONE CAN BECOME WHAT HE IS NOT,BUT CAN NEVER BE WHAT HE IS NOT:"It's the same god,who enthrones and dethrones".
YOU CANNOT SWIM LIKE A FISH.
TREES DO NOT FLY OR WALK.
IN THE BIBLE,GOD CALLED MOSES TO LEAD THE ISRAELITES OUT OF EGYPT.
AARON,HIS ELDER BROTHER,WAS CALLED BY GOD TO BE HIS SPEAKER(MOUTH PEASE).
MOSES WAS GOING TO RECEIVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS TO GOVERN THE CANTANCROSS HEBREWS,LEFT THEM UNDER AARON'S CARE,IN THE WILDERNESS.
BECUASE,AARON WAS NOT CALLED TO GOVERN/LEAD,HE BLEW IT WITHIN THE HREE DAYS,OF MOSES' ABSENCE.
THE ISRAELITES THOUGHT THAT MOSES HAD DIED BEFORE GOD,THEREFORE THEY RESORTED TO ADULTERY AND ALL SORTS OF MALACIOUS DEEDS.
MOSES THREW THE TABLETS OF STONES AND SPLAT IT,WHEN HE SAW THE BEHAVIOR OF HIS PEOPLE,AFTER GOD HINTED HIM OF THEIR MISCHIEVES.
WHAT POINT AM I MAKING HERE?
KOFI ANNAN COULD BE GOOD AT WHAT WE HAVE ALL SEEN HIM DOING,BUT MIGHT BLOW IT BIG TIME,IF HE MIGHT HAVE MADE A DECISION TO RULE GHANA.
I AM NOT HERE TO RULE IT OUT COMPLETELY,THAT HE MIGHT NOT BE BETTER THAN,EVEN KWAME NKRUMAH,ANYWAY.
I AM SPEAKING FROM BOBLICAL STANDPOINT.
IF A FISH IS TAKEN OUT OF A RIVER,POND,LAKE,THE SEA,AND PLACED ON SHORE,BANKS,A TABLE,IT STRUGGLES TO ENDURE IN THE NEW ENVIROMENT,PLACED.IT JUMPS FOR A FEW SECONDS AND SETTLES DOWN,WITH ITS GILLS,OPENED & CLOSED.
WHY?
BECAUSE,IT HAS BEEN DISLODGED FROM ITS NATURAL HABITAT.
BUT IF PLUNGED,ONCE MORE,INTO THE SEA,RIVER ETC,IT SWIFTLY SWIMS AWAY:
YOU CANNOT SWIM LIKE A FISH!
ONE'S SIGNIFICANCE IS NOT IN HIS SIMILARITY TO ANOTHER,BUT IN HIS POINT OF DIFFERENCE FROM ANOTHER.
THEREFORE,KOFI COULD BE GOOD IN HIS FOREIGN AFFAIR MISSIONS,BUT NOT NECESSARILY,A LEADER OF OUR GREAT NATION,GHANA.
MAY GOD BLESS GHANA & AFRICA,
IN JESUS' NAME

The current NPP top hierarchy do not respect/regard kind counsel because they insisted all die be die. And refused to apologise so this is what they have carried on till today. They include the three Musketeers who are the current petitioners. Owusu-Afriyie,sometimes Akomea, Sammy Awuku the disrespectful and the Nana Addo/Bawumia's "boy" who calls himself Afghanistan.
It is sad that Kofi Annan is intervening the last time, because he had appealed to the petitioners before but to no avail.
I believe they want someone or even the masses of the population to die before they are satisfied.
You remember immediately after the elections when they lost they started laying mines/dynamites under electricity sub-stations around the country until security was beefed and the dynamites were removed.
Who knows what /who has orchestrated the numerous arson attacks all over Ghana.
Trust me they have serious planes under they sleeves to destroy Ghana.
I would have wished Kofi Annan did not say it again. But the gentle/Statesman as he is, he has advised again.
I believe the NPP will only give up if he becomes their presidential candidate.
Who knows these crack heads will surely deal with him even if that suggestion is entertained.
God save this country.

THEY HAVE MADE POLITIGS THE MEANS TO GET RICH. SO THEY EMPLOY ALL THE CROOKED WAYS TO GET ELECTED AND THEREAFTER GET THE CHANCE TO LOOT FROM THE NATIONAL COFFERS. I TELL YOU MOST OF THEM DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT POLICY AND CONSTITUTION ,BUT THEY ARE IN POLITICS JUST TO MAKE MONEY. YOUR FOUNDATION SHOULD INSTILL IN THEM THE GREATNESS IN MAKING A NAME FOR ONES SELF. "GOOD NAME IS BETTER THAN RICHES." NOW THAT NELSON MANDELA IS ON THE VERGE OF PASSING AWAY, AFRICA HASN'T GOT A SINGLE NAME TO BE PRUOD OF. HOW MANY MANSIONS HAS MANDELLA? HOW MANY CARS, AEROPLANES, YATCHS, CASTLES ETC HAS MANDELA BUT HIS NAME, HIS NAME, HIS NAME, IS MENTIONED AMONG THE GREATEST THE WORLD HAS EVER HAD. OUR POLITICIANS NEED TO BE EDUCATED , THEY SHOULD CREATE NAMES FOR THEMSELVES. HERE I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THE NAME OF COL. MINYIRAH. While it inspring to identifying the bright spots on ghana's horizon, it is imperative to also address the obvious dangers ghana faces from within. It is not a secret the the petition, the lawlessness , large scale arson fires prevalent in currently are related to ZEAL TO GAIN POLITICAL POWER AT ALL COST AND THE HIGH LEVEL OF CORRUPTION.
The scale of corruption in government and the order of magnitude dwarfs what Acheampong, Afirifa and Co were killed for.
At such a scale, Ghana is a good candidate for a civil war or a failed state than a situation comparable to the beaconing light of hope shinning as a BLACK STAR from the jungles and waters of africa in 1957.....Well meaning leaders of Ghana as Mr. Annan should be very worried about the course of the nation .....
The Government in power should address the organized corruption and looting of government coffers to restore confidence in government.
Ghanaians should be encourage to protest , (in aluta and on the streets) corruption as the Brazilians, turks and the Middle Easterners are doing....

I'll humbly ask again,"what would it take"for us to simultaneously react to the incessant looting of our country's resources with impunity. What it all boils down to is that our leadership lacks the gull to enforce the rule and the respect of law. There seems to be no consequences for malfeasance in our country. Ghanains loot, steal, deface government properties and walk free without punishment. The extent of lawlessness is overwhelming and there seems to be no impetus for change.
Our President claims ordainment from God instead of respecting the fact that his mandate stems from the consent of the governed. It is this omission of awareness on both the part of the governed and the governors that has plunged our dear motherland into a near-failed State.Everybody is doing whatever they damn please and as long as they can bribe their way through it they really don't care. There are a whole of Ghanaians living way beyond their means and there are no checks and balances on how they come by such opulence.Exploitation of the system is the order of the day.And there's no national outcry because the looting is from the top and filters down to those at the bottom rung of the society.
Who would dare step up to the plate and demand immediate change? That is the question my fellow Ghanaians should be asking themselves everyday. And the answer....let each and every one of us LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

I had a passionate discussion at the Houston airport yesterday with a missionary on her way to Zambia to do poverty related missionary work. It couldn't have been better put. and by none other than former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, one of the greatest global statesmen of our times!!!
It seems to me every well meaning, neutral and level headed observer who wishes to see Ghana come out of its current slow pace of development despite its vast human and material resources can see a lot in Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah's vision, passion, tenacity and practical efforts to improve and make "our nation great and strong".
The only people who do not even want to entertain the idea of going back to "Nkrumah's aspirations" are those who wish to further consolidate and perpetrate the "exclusionary politics" that Kofi Annan refers to and the "winner takes all mentality" which has eaten into our very national fabric over the past seven decades.
I cannot see how we as a nation can develop and attain middle (let alone higher) income status if we continue to see things only through very narrow lenses of party, tribe, clan, nepotism, favouritism and all forms of corruption that we see around.
We need a new breed of Ghanaian leadership which transcends these things and above all, taps into the rich human resource and capital we have irrespective of party and other such affiliations.
We need a nation that is comfortable with itself just as the pieces that make it up i.e. the peoples of all tribes, religions and creed. Mutual regard and efforts to build the nation not for ourselves but to establish it as a powerful force and a global voice for good is what we need - a ONE-NATION approach.
I have always admired and respected Kofi Annan and his work and would recommend his recent book "Interventions" to ALL Ghanaian leaders and politicians and others who aspire to leadership. It is a treatise on leadership, diplomacy, tenacity, inclusivity and firm but balanced leadership on a sound and honest footing.
We can do better and trust me, it can take us less than 10 years to reach our goals if we throw away the bigoted, stupid, crass behaviours and our gutter and village politics and think GHANA!!!

The only reason why many Ghanaians praise Kofi Annan is because the west played a foul game and gave him the chance to be a Secretary General of the UN.
I wonder if many of such people have hesitated for even just a minute to ask themselves what he Kofi Annan has achieved for Africa and Ghana his and our motherland? I dont think it is enough just to praise him for having become a Secretary General of the UN. What has been the sum benefit for Africa and Ghana? Lets be honest with ourselves. Too often we get too excited about trifles which do not even impact favorably on our lives.
If we can begin to think outside the box for a while we may, as unfortunate as it may be, find certain truths which are not quite palatable about this man Kofi Annan.

Akonoba, you will not know greatness when you see one. Mr. Anan is way out of your league so cry your own cry. The man led a very complex organization and whites only such. One false move and you pay the ultimate price. Mr. Anan treats the Ghanaian issue with kid gloves, rather diplomatically, as they say. You do not know whites let alone try to understand them. I bet you in his stead, would bulldoze your way through and ponder later, the usual “buga, buga” way and then Akonoba is gone with the wind just like that all because the African as usual acted on impulses and did not give himself time and room to think and plan with tender and care. If you removed your thumb from your “damrifa mu” for once you would realise there are a few gems amongst us and that they should be treasured and not to be treated in disdain. Obama is towing the same thin line today as Mr. Anan did in the past. I will leave it at that so you can reflect in privacy, the secrete code here. “Fools hop, skip and jump where angels fear to tread”. I can’t wait to read Kofi Anan`s book when he finally decides to spill the beans and leave no stone unturned as related to his UN experience. Busubrum is an asset to Ghana, just like Kufuor. Ghana has great leaders but they cannot shine or lead in their own country because of seared minds and crazy people with weird mentality, and who are stubborn, just like the ancient Israelites. Ayi Kwei Armah said it all in those days with his novels of Fragments and The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born, in which a young graduate from abroad joins the rotten civil service to change it but faces an uphill task. As Kofi Annan said, democracy is not about winner takes all, but about inclusivity and magnanimity. Therefore, let us all reconsider Nkabom Aban or Union Government to show the West that we can evolve and practise our own form of democracy. Currently, I see this current NDC government as biased in appointing mostly people of northern extraction to head sensitive positions, and they are in the majority. Is that inclusivity or participatory government? Some of us are utterly disappointed in the NDC, but then, let us respect the Supreme Court decision as our Big Brother has advised. Two wrongs do not make a right. Nana has shown an exemplary leadership by going to court. We salute him.

Good talk! But, are we to challenge the results of elections every time we perceive the declared winner is not the right one, if by that alone will actualise the legitimacy of the winner? Litigation as a result of mistrust of one another just breeds more litigation - its never ending. That's the problem; dear ex UN Secretary! The sad thing about taking a route like this is that the country's development suffers more as a result. And the country's advancement becomes intermittent - a time wasting prospect which draws not only the country down, but other aspect of it as well! So, as we respect the integrity of our judges so, too, we must respect the integrity of the person or persons who, by our constitution, we entrust to organise and declare the results of our country's elections!

My reason is there are situation where it was very clear that the petitioners must be adjudged right but Atubuga will still vote against them. I don't understand. I think that is even unprofessional. How can he openly do this in the face of all the facts before him. When every judge voted for he will vote against. This is unfair and it violate human ethics and the judicial ethics. This is what our elders must be doing. They must show concern in the case. They must not sit and allow the youngsters to be spewing venoms until it becomes poison where there will be no remedy. Kofi is on the right track. Please our elders you must speak to put SC on their toes, let them know that although you know they will do the right thing, you are still interested in giving God sent judgment. This is the time for our religious, political, peace etc leaders to encourage the SC to open it's eyes and not to be bias. The case is a very delicate one and the verdict must be one that will be accepted by all. That is why it is imperative that our elders will talk so that the SC will bring out the facts, truth that if the verdict is given nobody will have any cause to doubt them. But if they hide some of the truth by voting on a specific line, it is not going to help. Elders please start talking by encouraging the SC to do what is right. Encourage them that you are all behind them and they need not to be afraid of giving the right judgment. All institutions must join - chiefs, chancellors, ceos,IGP, army Commanders, pastors, bishops etc must speak now. Don't wait until there is a mess before you talk. If you have anything to say, it is now just as honorable Kofi Annan has done. Please our elders do not keep quiet.

DOES HE BELONG TO A BUSINESS MAFIA CALING ITSELF A POLITICAL PARTY JUST IN TO LOOT THE COUNTRY....Why is he hostile to collecting money that belongs to the country....The President is suppose to be the No.1 patriot....

Its means you don´t know your history, you have now classified yourself as one of the fools in Ghana perhaps from MATEMHO Danquah-busia Tradition, The schools, Akosombo Dam and Tema motoway you just mentioned were not built by the British people. Let me tell you something, the British ruled us more than 130 years, the only thing they they did in this 130 yrs, even with the help of only Governor, Sir Gordon Guggisberg, He built, Takoradi Harbour, Korle Bu Hospital, Achimota School and the railways thats all. Everything you see in Ghana were all done by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, even the Korle-Bu Hospital it was Nkrumah who added Teaching Hospital, and the railways too, he added Huni Valley, and the University of Ghana Legon, before it was only College, it was Nkrumah who turn it University of Ghana. Now read what Nkrumah did with the money British left for us, (200 million pounds). These are things Nkrumah did, Akosombo Dam, Tema Township, Tema Harbour, Tema General Hospital, Tema Oil Refinery, Tema Meridian Hotel, Tema Secondary School, and many more secondary schools in Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Tema Fishing Harbour, Cement factory, Tema motoway, Lever brothers, Cocoa factory, GIHOC, and all the factories at Tema, Ashanti Kumasi jute factory, Kumasi shoe factory, Okonfo Anokye Hospital, Prempeh college, Kuasi star hotel, Aboso Glass factory, Asutuare Sugar factoy, Wenchi Tomanto Factory, Nsawam Cannery factory, Komenda sugar factory, Bonsa Tyre factory, Adomi Bridge, Accra to Mankessim Coastal road, Akasanoma facroy, Tema Vehicle assembley plant. State farms, Workers brigade, Ghana Airways, Ghana Black star shipping Lines, Silos for preserving food, and many, many many more infrastructures he intend establish in Ghana in his 7 years development plan, next time find the right evidence before you start talking, and I tell you the problems Ghana is encountering today is as a result of your ancesstors the so called terrorist activities that brought our development to abrupt halt, (U.P tradition that has brought us to this day). Kofi Annan has given you a proverb, about our second chance. He knows what was the first chance was, as he mentioned it 1957, the time we attained independence from Britain was the first beginning as that time, roads, factories, schools, universities started to be built, that was the first chance kofi was talking about it.

So when Korea was talking development, Ghana was talking revolution, foolish copying a Libya that has enough oil to drink, holding on to power by killing people who could otherwise have been the drivers of development. Even judges who disagreed were killed an burned. Thirty years on, Jerry Rawlings has no apology to offer but rather more insults.

How can a public servant do well when he is purpetted by his debtors sponsors and friends who has help him to that position. I have been thinking of when Ghana can have people like Busumuru Anang leading the country. But this man, fearing somebody will say I support this Party or the other has never given the thought of standing as an Independent candidate. Oh, I do not want to spoil the broth.
Please, Ghana needs saviours to give us LIFE and independence but the current crop of politicians will always lead into ABJECT POVERTY and NATURAL BEGGARS.
Busumuru, I know you feel ashamed of yourself for the snails backwad pace of our GROWTH in every sphere of life. The only hope is coming out to stand as an independent presidential candidate and appointing people who matter - in and out of the present political divide - to lift us out of this shameful way of living.
Now, look at the life of Mr. Amidu. He is afraid of his precious life just because he has tried to be a PATRIOT! Cry, beloved country. When can we live as human beings? There are more of ANIMALS than HUMAN BEINGS in Ghana today than even in 1950s and 1960s.
We need an INDEPENDENT PRESIDENT to make these GREEDY/SELFISH politicians shut their mouths. By so doing, the political parties may start thinking twice.

For your information, /Kofi Annan was never a declared CPP man. He was just a young man at the time and his father Mr Reginald Annan's house was where the UGCC was formed. His father funded and supported Danquah, Busia and the lot in their politics (that you appear to belong to) so stop talking nonsense here. So you see, if you do not know the facts about a man, don't just condemn him.
Why don't you take the trouble to find out more about him? He is telling the truth and has analysed things for himself. What have you achieved in life to be sitting on such a high horse yourself?
