It is a shame that Taysec management has done this to Mr. Abebrese who happens to be one of the share holders of the company like they did to other staff of the company. people who worked hard for this company over the years have to be treated this way. the case must be investigated to know the real truth. Some of us have an interest in it.

This news is very concerning. If Taysec has decided to let the general public know that the financial controller is no more with them that is fine, but to put out a statement that presupposes that one is wrong and yet withhold the whole story is wrong and not acceptable. Would they have done that if he was a white british man ? Come on Taysec you can do better than than.

The comments so far all back the dismissed employee. Wrong doings are never punished in Ghana. If Abebrese is dismissed it means there is unequivocal proof of his guilt. One of the differences between the European and the Ghanaian is that the European will make a rule and enforce it and if the rule is broken, the perpetrator pays the price. The Ghanaian will make a rule, half enforce it and if the rule is broken the perpetrator only has to beg for forgiveness and he is forgiven. Unfortunately we think that proves we are kind and human, WRONG. All that proves is that we are inveterate idiots who cannot govern as we have proved over 56 years. A country should be of enforceable laws without which there is chaos.

Very well said and I wish those who commented earlier would engage and learn from you. Unfortunately we are not a nation of learners. Many on this forum, very typical of the average radio caller in Ghana, are ignorant of best practices in the West, yet shout the loudest. Instead of keeping quite to learn from those who have been exposed, they'll dismiss you as "too known". God save Ghana from people who are so corrupt they see nothing wrong when "Big Men" are exposed.

Typical British, not bold enough to tackle issues head on. Run to the media with half baked story, let the media ruin the reputation of the person, sit back and sip tea. If Taysec had the balls to put this in the public domain, what prevents them from stating what Mr Abebrese has done? What happened to the saying '' Innocent until proven guilty'' ???? Long service, a shareholder, just about to go on retirement, possible and most likely a heavy pay off and healthy pension. Naaaaaah! the African does not deserve this in the British' eyes.
Mr Abebrese please keep your head high and don't let these wreckers get to you. You will be absolved and when you are, legally teach these ungrateful twerps where power really is.
