Once again FNSL has led a way in introducing technology to enhance its business. It is important to note that this is not benefiting just FNSL, it has also revolutionalised the customers ability to bank their daily proceeds ..a luxury that was only reserved for traders in the city. Most major banks in Ghana and Nigeria have tried using MPOS devices with rather negative results, so bravo to FNSL for venturing into this technological maze and succeeding. Africa needs such technologies to capture the 'un banked' sector which forms about 50% of the transactional economy in some sub-Saharan African countries. It will be great for Ghana if even the smaller micro finances uses such technologies. This is a great article however, what I find missing is information regarding the implementation strategies or even partners used for this project. Now that FNSL have taken lead in this area, will it not be prudent if they share how such a brilliant piece of technology was implemented with others?, in particular smaller micro finances who are struggling, I appreciate that in Africa folks don't share but if the continent is to move on in the progressive manner in which international agencies wishes it to, then maybe, it is time for FNSL to collaborate and introduce this technology even to their competitors!! growing business is not just about gaining a huge market share but also aligning oneself to competitors and leading the way in technologies such as this...if experiences from our so called western world is anything to go by, aggressive companies like FNSL will eventually take over most of the struggling microfinances, so why not let them into your secret, knowing that they will eventually become part of you...that way you don't have to invest in such systems again in future...on the other hand if they don't eventually come under your umbrella, they will always look up to you....that is currency that no money can buy in business...so as you say in Ghana, a word to the wise is enough..so FNSL I urge you to share this beautiful technology with all in the business that are smart enough to listen,, I have seen this technology in action in the far east and I can confidently say that this is just the beginning of good things for you..well done..Bravo
